After reaching a concensus to go down, Both Kingsley and her could see the bottom of the pit reaching their field of vision.
"We have no light other than that key of yours" she said,
"And how the hell did we even get here in the first place?"
Kingsley thought for a moment.
Everything seemed to be connected to that key, but how was the key connected to him?
Upon reaching the ground level, she turned to him once again.
"I haven't told you my name yet have I?"
"Hm. no i guess you didn't." he replied.
she looked at him with a proud disposition, "Its Elise."
"Mine is Kingsley, its nice to meet you"
"So, how should we get out of here?" she asked.
Kingsley had no clue whatsoever. Maybe there lay a hidden treasure like his key.
They make their way a few hundred meters further towards the caves opening.
Each step could be heard with a click clack.
Soon, a howl could be heard.
*That doesn't sound like good company, could it be some sort of creature not of this world?*
Luckily the sound didn't seem to be close to their vicinity, but they would have to reach that point sooner or later.
The key still floating around his body looked as if it wanted to guide their way, almost like a compass.
*Could this key be trying to tell me where to go?*
The iridescent colors crossed each other to form a solid white.
The howls could be heard even louder as they cautiously made their way down the cave dwelling.
1 howl.....5...6 of them....
This mysterious howl had led them to believe that something otherworldly had been waiting for them.
Less than a few steps away from the corner leading to the howl. Both Kingsley and Elise could only peer around the corner to look where they noise had been coming from.
A beast none other like they had seen before prowled at the other beast.
This one looked like a Dark Ape, hundreds of feet big while the other looked like a Yellow Baboon also just as big.
*Maybe their fighting for supremacy?*
THUMP THUMP
Both thumping their chests as loud as they could, tackled towards each other.
The clash would send soundwaves like nothing Kingsley had ever felt before.
Rock debris would fall down from the cave ceiling.
Thunderous earthquakes could be felt reverberating through the ground.
"We cant stay here any longer!" said Elise. "This place is gonna collapse at any moment!"
"I have an idea." Kingsley said.
*Maybe this key could help him* he thought.
He closed his palms into fist and tried his very best to bring out that power that saved his life when he and Elise were being pursued.
Suddenly a wave of inconcievable agility had pressured itself into his very being.
Tension could be felt on every fiber of his muscles.
"LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!!!!"
He jumped onto the dark ape while forming a fist that collided with its rock hard defense.
Shattering the apes defense, it stumbled onto the ground with all confusion on its face.
The yellow baboon still furious decided to run towards Kingsley with its fast agile movements.
Grabbing onto the protruded stalactites, it made its way toward Kingsley.
Kingsley yet again producing power from within the key.
Could slowly feel the hairs on his skin tickle.
Each wave of momentum made his agility like reflexes stronger.
He also came dashing forward toward the yellow baboon that looked just as menacing as the dark ape.
One leap and Kingsley sent a roundhouse towards the yellow baboon making it fly against the cave walls. Kingsley still couldnt fathom the power he had gained from this so called key.
After looking around. the dark ape seemed to have escaped while the yellow baboon lost all vitality.
Elise, just as astounded came rushing in after the cave seemed to settle.
"What just happened?" she asked.
