As they reached within the Key Guild, many people noticed their worn out attire.
Bad-mouthing could be heard from people watching them afar.
It was easy to tell that there was some sort of hierarchy system going on here Kingsley thought.
*Im guessing the lower class Keysmiths are looked down upon by those higher...but that doesn't mean that the higher class will always be better*
Over at the front desk. a maiden could be seen dressed in formal wear welcomed them.
"Welcome to Lowren's Key Guild. How may I help you?" she said.
Liam promptly replied, "We have two new Keysmiths that are unidentified, If you could please guide them to the Locksmith Chamber and help them connect to their keys."
The lady answered courteously, "Very Well,"
She led them to another room with a single podium in the middle, this podium seemed like it had actually seen better days, but nonetheless, that didn't matter as of right now.
Above it hung a mysterious chain, An almost black like obsidian glass chain.
The lady began to instruct the two. "Simply hold and pull the chain and the energy within the chain shall connect you to your Key."
Kingsley decided to go first this time.
Although he knew he had a key. What could possibly happen now?
His vision blurred and turned muddy for a moment. Inside his mind was a space that simply exuberated divineness altogether. A Monkey, dressed in a white robe could be seen sitting on the chair with a round table.
"kakakaka, little one, you've come at last."
Kingsley could only question if this was actually reality.
"kekekeke, now, now, come. lets sit and talk for a bit"
Kingsley replied, "Sorry but, uhhhh, Who are you?"
The monkey got up from the chair, his body shape seemed of humanoid however the features were all monkey-like.
"I am the monkey god of the zodiac."
