Mud Golem
Level 10
Hp:900
"Golems? They're golems?" he was mildly shocked as golems were normally high-level difficulty constructs.
The golems looked majestic as they had nice intricate carvings around their body he couldn't identify.
Their facial features only included a pair of eye sockets that gleamed with a faint yellow light and a thin line for a mouth. He was not sure they opened as golems couldn't talk.
The golems stared at him for a minute before slowly ambling towards him. The ground quaked with each step they took as they walked in unison. They left large mud prints on the ground as they moved towards him. He took a step back as he considered his choices.
The golems were all twice his level, but it didn't seem there was a way to progress without fighting them. Although he doubted where his confidence came from, he knew he would have to fight.
"Well…no use waiting for you guys to make the first move I guess," he said as he charged a fire ball at the middle one.
The big ball of flame roared through and smashed into the golem with a low bang sound. But the golem kept walking ahead unfazed.
"At the end of the day they really are golems" he said as he checked the golem's hp. Only 20 points were shaved off.
"But there's nothing much to think about" he said as he charged the spell again.
"As mud golems, fire is your greatest bane!"
He kept kiting the golems around the cave hall constantly blasting them with fireballs. Their slow movements made them easier to dodge so he took no damage thanks to his superior reflexes. After about two minutes, he started seeing the progress of his work.
One of the golems had suddenly tripped on the smooth stone floor for no reason at all. Another one, trying to swing his arms down at him had suddenly stopped midway before crashing down to the floor instead.
"Bwahaha! Bow to my power foolish constructs!" Rastel said happily as he went around the golems in rings blasting them with fire balls.
He had been aiming his attacks at their joints all this while and being made of mud as they are, their joints got baked hard. The golems were unable to move!
He stood smiling at a job well done while patting himself on the back. The golems were stuck at awkward poses with their eyes still fixed on him, it was a comical sight.
'It is just like he said' he thought to himself.
'There are things you can do here that would never work in other games. This would have never worked in the Old men scrolls'.
He took his time killing the golems as they could not resist. About five minutes later, all the golems lay dead on the floor in piles of mud and baked clay. Their cores were there for the taking though and he happily received them and checked their stats.

This should prove useful for something he thought as he put them in his inventory. It was then he noticed he received no exp for killing them.
'Why is there no exp though?' he thought as he moved on.
He decided it must have something to do with the dungeon and let it be for the main time. He quickly reached the exit and came across a similar room but this time, three balls of fiery flames formed into three golems with raging fire bodies.
Combustion golem
Level 10
Hp: 700
'Combustion?' he looked quizzically.
Now that he thought about it, the former golems were not straight up earth or water, It was mud. Now, these combustion golems must be made of not just fire but air also. Dual element golems!
"Seems like the owner of this unique class is not some simpleton at all" he thought as he took a battle stance.
Golems were already hard to create entities not to talk of bestowing an element with runes or in this case, two elements working in harmony. That was inconceivable as far as Rastel's in-game knowledge went. He would have to check out the game's lore about this later.
The golems this time were swift and brutal in their attack. Rastel was kept on edge throughout the whole fight which lasted nearly 15 minutes. He had to rely heavily on his stonewall to take the brunt of the majority of the attacks they threw at him. Finally, after using up all his health potions and countless Insta heals brought about by multiple near-death situations later. He finally managed to kill all three golems using numerous water streams and effectively finishing all his mana potions given to him by Oron.
His clothes were singed all over and he was still using Insta heal to recover from multiple burn marks all over his body.
"Ah lord, if this game wasn't so nice this place would be a living hell! Fuck I almost died so many times I felt I'll die for real!"
He picked up the cores that dropped from the golems and identified them

"The same thing huh? I really wonder what it's used for. Maybe I'll be able to remake the golems later? I will be madly overpowered then."
After making sure he was fully recovered, he walked to the next exit and went through it, and found himself in what looked like the final room.
It was circular like the previous rooms but unlike the others, there was a table and a chair made of some type of wood he could not recognize. On the table was a small book, a nicely carved small knife in its sheath, a note, and a small figure of a golem standing.
The golem was a sleek black made of some unidentifiable material. It had no intricate carvings around it like the previous golems but only just a diagram of a circle with four triangles facing outwards orbiting it covering most of its chest.
Also, unlike the other golems, it had a set of fully jointed limbs with fingers and toes though it still had the traditional golem look with soft slits for eyes and a mouth. It had a cute expression on its face that made it look lovable even though it was probably an emotionless machine.
It was set to point at the note on the table with one of its fingers. Rastel walked up to the table admiring the knife and golem but cautious not to touch them. Seeing the golem point at the note, he picked it up and read it.
'You who has chosen to accept my legacy, you must have the minimal amount of talent needed if you were able to beat my creations possessing double your strength and reach this stage. I am but an old man who spent his whole life seeking perfection through creation. Though I would like you to find your own path as well, I still find it necessary to make sure that a part of my ideals is passed on to my successor as it was what made me create my legacy in the first place.'
'On the table is my loyal companion who followed me throughout most of my life. He was a friend, sibling, parent, and my most faithful companion who saw me through thick and thin. I shall leave him to you should you pass my final test and accept my legacy. The legacy of the one and only Immortal Sculptor! Haha, that's me blowing my trumpet. Though my name must be long forgotten by now if things go as I fear, I must also warn you that you may gain hidden powerful enemies if your power is recognized as mine but that shouldn't matter, it's either you pass my test or die so it's too late! Hahahaha!'
Rastel's eyes constricted at this point. This old man was definitely senile, so this quest was a death trap! Him gaining this class might gain him powerful hidden enemies? That should be bad but it also proves that the class should be insanely strong if it should garner that much attention.
He already guessed the class had something to do with golem making from the previous challenges but he felt the author's title of Immortal sculptor was a bit too cheesy.
Taking another admiring look at the golem, it really was something special like he thought, seeing as the man held it in close sentimental value.
"Well, let's see how the quest would go like first" he said as he continued reading
'To pass my final test, I shall for now borrow you my personal blade. You are to sculpt a golem using the wall of the caves around you as material. My little notebook contains the knowledge of what you may need to know and starting from immediately you finish this note, my friend shall awaken to do battle with your creation in this cave. You must defeat him to pass my test and your powers would be restricted, only another golem shall be allowed to fight.'
'The previous two caves shall be safe for you to work and only this cave would be a battle zone for now. After 3 days, the previous cave shall no longer be safe and after another three days, the first cave shall also be made into a battle zone! So you have barely 10 days to either make a strong capable golem or die in the hands of my capable companion. Hehehehe! Good luck to you, possible predecessor. Try not to die.'
As Rastel read the last word, he felt the table shudder suddenly. He turned to look at the golem as the symbol on its chest glowed with a bright white light. As he continued watching in awe, the golem started expanding with its body growing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
He quickly grabbed the knife, small book, and the note and ran to the entrance as he heard the table crack and collapse under the golem's definite horrifying weight. As he reached the entrance, he turned around to see a majestic creation.
The golem had a dull metallic sheen all over its body as its eyes, mouth and the symbol glowed with a bright white light. It made deep grunting sounds, the light in its eyes flashed as it caught sight of Rastel and roared!
ROAR!!!
