"When I saw you, I fell in love, you smiled because you knew."
This thought was breeding in Sarah's cognizance after the preeminent encounter. It all inaugurated at Holland College.
*Flashback*
The students from Queen Charlotte Junior High were taken to Holland College for a tour. The three girls, Sarah, Pauline, and Mavis, were all busy snapping pictures. There was a large mob of scholars doing the same. All students were rushing here and there by pushing Sarah away. Sarah involuntarily got segregated from her group. She felt a sense of pressure and tension environing her. She was lost and had no notion how to reunite with her group, but at that instant, she just needed some space. So, she put her arms forward and scoot herself out of the crowd. On her way out, she stumbled and was almost about to fall when someone caught her. When she glanced up, she was astonished that she didn't drop. She discerned an arm encircled around her waist, preventing her from collapsing. She gazed up and was met by a pair of glowing, hazel eyes. It was a guy with attractive and charming features. At that moment, time froze. She was too engrossed on what's happening, staring at his gorgeous eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, and at that moment, she knew she was falling in love. After a few minutes of staring at each other, the guy helped her up with a gleam of concern in his eyes, and she came back to her senses. The guy asked, "Are you okay?"
She opened her mouth to reply, but oblivion came out. The guy chuckled, extended his hand, and said, "I'm Aiden. And you are?"
She wanted to answer, but she was remarkably tongue-tied that she remained silent, gaping at him. There was a moment of inopportune silence until he finally spoke up, "Take care and see you around."
Even after he strolled away, Sarah was nevertheless in her fantasy world until finally, someone called her name and snapped right back into reality. When she turned around, she saw her friends running towards her, "Are you okay? What happened?" asked Pauline. "I'm fine, really," replied Sarah.
Mavis raised her eyebrow and inquired, "Are you sure because I saw you talking to a guy earlier."
As Sarah filled out the details of what had happened, her friends smirked and shouted out in unison, " Oohh... looks like someone's in love~". Sarah had nothing to say except her face had turned bright scarlet from delight and uncertainty. "O-okay guys, let's move along, or the class is going to leave us behind."
Sarah diverts from the topic still blushing.
*flashback end*
It's been three days since that happened and Sarah can't hinder that incident out of her mind and every time she thinks about it, her heart races.
