This chapter focusses on the basic features of the planet and some information about time, month, year and such systems which is observed.
Please skip this chapter if you want to start from the story, and keep this chapter as a reference.
The planet where the story takes place, Varka, is a much bigger planet compared to Earth.
As Varka is an enourmous planet, the gravitational force is a bit on the higher side because of a much denser core. (There are many other factors like centripetal force, moons etc but lets not go into it.)
It has two moons, large ones. They have almost the same revolution speed so they always remain apart. Thus, two moons are never visible at the same time.
Varka is the second biggest planet orbiting around its sun, Oron 339. It is the fourth planet from the inner side.
There are many 'realms' on this planet, such as the Human realm, the Zettan realm, the Latun realm and many more.
After the Treaty of Kron brought an end to the 'War Of Ages' , strict and impartial rules were laid regarding travelling to other realms, which caused the interaction between citizens of different realms to cease.
Kron was the place where a devastating war between the realms came to an end, which left a deep scar in the history of every realm.
Therefore, to prevent further struggle and bloodshed, a barrier was created between the realms, which could only be passed through with the permission from the Czar of Kron's throne.

Each realm has its own Kron's throne, which is the most powerful throne a realm has. So naturally, the Czar is selected to be the one who is the most suitable, worthy and the mightiest citizen.
There are many other thrones which provide the authority to control various facets of life.
Time:
A day is roughly the same duration as that of earth. For easier interpretation, let us assume that a day is divided into 24 hours
(but it is not so. A day in Varka is divided into 18 'kens')
and so will we assume with the minutes and seconds.
The next portion is strictly restricted to the Human realm, as all realms have their own way to define and divide the days of the year.
Week:
A week starts from the first day of the month and ends on the sixth day, i.e. a week consists of six days, beginning from the 1st of the month. So, the seventh day would be the first day of the second week. The days are name as follows
1st day: Hon
2nd day: Crea
3rd day: Stre
4th day: Imp
5th day: Tru
6th day: Hel
Each day signifies one of the six ideal personalities.
Months:
Every month is of exactly 30 days.
As there are six days in a week, a month has 5 weeks.
There are 12 months in a calendar year.
For Human realm, the months are used as the same ones as that on Earth to reduce confusion (I am not being lazy, but it is very confusing any other way)
Year:
Every year has 366 days.
12 months*30 days per month
=360 days
Where are the rest 6 days? The rest 6 days consist of a week between the month of December and January.
The 6 days are known as the 'Week of Harmony'.
The Week of Harmony is the week of holidays and festivals.
It is a special week in which regardless of the circumstances, people are to enjoy their life to the fullest, keeping behind all their worries, all their stresses. The government of respective kingdoms provide every necessary facility to all of its citizens for no cost whatsoever.
Any kingdom failing to do so, may have to undergo a complete revamp of the royal family. This takes place under the supervision of the Czar of Kron's throne.

The date is written as :

SR : Since Restart
'SR' represents the dating system which is counted since the records were restarted after getting properly organised.
The earlier dating was done in the 'SC' format, SC meaning Since Counting.
But due to being at the brink of extinction during the 'War Of Ages', the overwhelming external influence and loss of many records led to a scramble in the organised system of dates. Thus, a new, better and more scientific dating system was adapted.
Magic:
Magic can be said to be the backbone of every process; be it farming, blacksmithing, travelling; anything and everything.
Every person is born with certain capabilities and affinities.
The extent to which one can wield an element towards his purpose is his capability, which can be trained through dedicated hardwork.
Affinity is the reaction of a certain element towards an individual. A human generally has one affinity element out of the 9 elements, which he/she can comfortable use. But in certain rare occurences, one may have two or once in a billion, even three element affinities.
The 9 elements are:
1) Wind
2) Fire
3) Water
4) Ice
5) Earth
6) Lightning
7) Dark
8) Light
9) Void
Each element has its own methods and uses, no element is superior over the other. Yet, as dark and light elements are rarely found in humans, it is a prevalent superstition that these two elements are more powerful.
The element of Void has ceased to exist from the entire planet, and not many know that this element ever existed. Due to its black colour, most club it together with the dark element, as is done in the history books.
During the second Intestellar War a few millennia ago, Varka's forces suffered a heavy defeat. The planet was on the brink of extinction when its own allies turned their backs on them. The planet was surrounded and threatened to be demolished.
That is when the Void spirit king covered Varka with every single void element particles available and the Crimson dragon ran rampant, defeating at least a million of the opposition forces. There were many other such heroes who helped during that time, but these two were the most notable ones.
But, neither of them survived to witness their triumph.
There is an abundance of such incidents and heroes, but space would be insufficient to include them all.
(I have 5-6 such historical incidents planned in detail, 1 chapter per story of about 1000 words. But I don't think anyone would like to read it😂. Let me know in the comments if you want to know about at least one or two of these heroic moments in the history books of Varka.)
Present day:
Humans have progressed a lot scientifically, and modernized in a positive direction.
The people who chose to fight for their kingdom are provided with a 'Mechanical gear' which is different from any normal weaponry.
Mechanical gear is the part of one's body and assists the user in increasing the combat power. To a certain extent, it can intensify an element affinity, protect against others and assist in a battle an more than one way.
In the present day, that is year 1470SR, the human realm is divided into 9 kingdoms:
Dyna
Plauto
Kyrol
Nida
Troy
Silis
Rauda
Zaust
Conte
There are frequent wars, some small ones over minor disputes, while others with major influence.
There are a total of 20 thrones in human realm including Kron's throne.
The ruler of a kingdom is the possessor of that kingdom's Royal Throne, which does 'not' provide as much authority as the other eleven.
Currency:
The currencies of the 9 kingdoms, used for trades and commerce, unified into a single currency when the year counting was reset.
The prevalent currency in this new era is Zil.

Ranks:
The warriors are ranked on the basis of their strength. The ranks are as follows:
1) Practitioner
2) Soul Disciple
3) Soul Master
4) Soul Lord
5) Soul King
6) Soul Devourer
7)Essence Practitioner

9) Abyss Emperor
10) Abyss Devourer
11) God
Skills:
The skills are divided into seven grade(from low to high) are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Cyan, Violet.
Spirit:
Spirits are mythical creatures which accompany the person they deem as their master along their journey. Spirits can attack, support or defend during a battle and they have the power to change the tides of a battle with their abilities. They have same kind of system as humans regarding affinities and skills.
DR:
DRs or Defending Robots is a modern piece of technology which is developed by all the countries in the present date. Despite their name, they are generally prolific with attacks too and play a major and active role in any battle. The DR are controlled by their users magic, therefore they support the same element affinities as their controller, but they can be manipulated to withhold even wider arsenal of skillset.
