Chapter 176 - Order of Priorities

Hearing my request, Viola snaps out of her stupor, and I do wonder why that is. Surely, this is not the first time that she has met a Sorcerer before, but perhaps, this is first time that she has met a Sorcerer like me before.

I am not a Sorcerer, as I am not a Minasian. I am an Earthling, in body and spirit even if I am not actually in my real body right now. As such, my form of magic does feel somewhat different to Viola and Lucian, but since mana is universal everywhere, it is not completely different.

Or Minasian would not have been able to sense my Magical Power at all.

Furthermore, I am not actually using my true form of magic. I am emulating it via Runic Magic, as Runic Magic does allow me to do things that should not be possible at my current magical power, for as long as I have the mana to power the Runes.

Runic Magic is one of the best forms of magic to learn. Unfortunately, while anyone can learn to wield it given enough time and effort, it is not possible to master it unless they are a literal God or higher or a Runemaster.

I am not a Runemaster nor I am a God, at least not yet for the latter. But regardless, my understanding of Runic Magic is exceedingly high, as I use it for pretty much everything and anything. This is because it is so versatile, and it does not require much resource to be of use, especially when the said resources are very easy to come by.

"Ah… yes, Ma… Sorcerer Zan. It is this way. Please excuse us, First Master Lucian," Viola responses.

I think I might have gone overboard with the demonstration of power, but I really want to kick Lucian off his high horse and get some respect. At least, I did not murder him outright even if I am more than inclined to do so.

It is better that way.

From my experience, Lucian is a problem. If not for me then for Alex, and as such, I rather get rid of it right now. Perhaps I will soon, when there are no witnesses.

"Please allow me to escort you to where you wish to go, Sorcerer Zan," Lucian calls out. He then waves his hand at Viola. "Leave us."

Viola bows and about to obeys, as she is just a servant of this household. I stop her, however, as I am not interested in having Lucian escorts me anywhere.

"That is not necessary, Master Lucian, as I am sure you are a busy person. So busy that you would not waste time bothering anyone, including my host, right?" I refuse the offer and also give him a warning, allowing Alex to rest due to the magical liposuction. "Besides, I rather have the company of a beautiful lady after a long journey here if you understand what I mean."

Lucian laughs. "Ah yes. Yes, of course," he response and then sharply eyes Viola. "You give Master Zan whatever he needed and make sure his stay here is as comfortable as possible. Do you understand?"

"I understand, First Master Lucian," Viola responses respectfully and continues to guide me down the hallways and towards an unexpected chamber. Unexpected because it is not the Library.

Once Viola closes the doors behind her, I narrow my eyes at her before letting out a sigh. "I suppose I will make myself comfortable first then?"
