I suppose that it is, considering life is not worth living in such an extreme case.
But I do wonder what the one reasonable for the transmigration hopes to accomplish with seeing Alex suffers, but honestly, it does not really matter in the end.
"I can fix that with a little bit of time," I assure Alex before pondering on the real problem. "It was only 3 minutes for me. 3 minutes and 41 seconds to be exact.
Alex struggles to breath. "No… fucking idea… for me. Ugh… I just… just know it is… like 6 days from the calendar! Fuck!"
"Okay, let's assume that it is 6 days exactly. That's 8650 minutes in total. Comparing to my time, that's a factor of 2,350. Not bad, actually," I calculate quickly. Time within this world flows at 2.35 thousand times faster than within the Life Zone, but that is not absolute, as time within the Life Zone is actually speeding up.
Thus, with every passing second, that factor is diminishing. But even so, that still is plenty of time, and it is one of the reasons why Transmigration or Reincarnation Quests are so valuable.
It is not the Quest itself that is valuable, but the place the Quest is taking place in. It is also not always about the materialistic things, as time is also a valuable resource. A very valuable resource for me and Alex at the moment.
"Whatever you are going to do, do it quickly, Zan… I do really think… I can hold on much longer," Alex informs, and I nod in understanding.
Unfortunately, I cannot do anything as a disembodied Spirit, and I could have done something if either my Magical or Spiritual Power are at higher tiers. But reaching higher tiers is the whole point of making use of the Transmigration or Reincarnation Quest.
Since I cannot do anything, I will make use of the System then, and the first thing that I do is converting the room into an Establishment. That will allow me to return here even if Alex somehow fails his Quest.
And speaking of which, there is no penalty in failing the Quest.
It is not like I have sold his life to the Shop System. I merely sold his service via his contract. But if Alex fails, he would not receive another Transmigration or Reincarnation Quest in the future. He would be blacklisted from such Quests, and I think that is much worse than actually dying.
Since Alex cannot fail, I cannot just kill him and then summon him (his Spirit) here to join me for some exploitation. That leaves with making sure he is alive, and it is not that difficulty at all.
I access the Shop System next and purchase an avatar, allowing me to interact with the physical world.
"Alright, Alex. Just relax. This will take a while since you are so fucking fat," I tell him and use magic to stable his deteriorating health, burning a lot of fat in the process.
After an few minutes or so, Alex can finally breathe normally, and it is a huge improvement. And after an hour, he can get off the bed once more. "Damn, I wish I can use actual magic in this body."
"You can through Runes," I remind Alex and immediately realize Alex was unable to due to his current condition. "Oh right. Sorry. Anyway, your butler used some sort of ability to relocate you to the bed."
"Yeah, it is their form of magic called Minas," Alex tells me. "And not everyone can use it, apparently."
