Alex does not response at all, and after a minute of waiting or so, I really want to kick him deeper into his dreamworld. Sadly, I am not that good, and I only manage to wake him up with the kick instead. It is better that way, I think.
"What the fuck!? Zan! Damnit!?" Alex shouts and pulls himself off the ground. "And I was having such an awesome dream too. These twins have these huge twins right… oh, hey Cindy. What's up?"
I turn my attention away from Alex towards Cindy, who is on her approach. I glare at Alex afterwards, and then return my attention to Cindy. "Do you need something, Cindy?"
"Zan. Alex. Yeah. Sorry, but it's not for me. Okay, it is, but it's hard to… umm…" Cindy mumbles, trying to find the proper words, and from her eyes movement and body language, I can probably guess what it is.
There is just a handful of things that a woman cannot live without, trapped in the Zone or not.
"It must be hard being a girl," I tell her and secretly hand her what she needs. I have picked it up while raiding one of the pharmacies. As a matter of fact, I have no idea what kind of things I have picked up from most of the stores.
I just grabbed everything I could as quickly as I could, all to sell to the Shop System for some quick GPs and Prestige. The quality did not matter. Only quantity and uniqueness.
Cindy looks at what I had given her and then blushes in embarrassment.
"Thank, Zan," Cindy thanks me and heads straight to the unfunctional restroom before calling Teressa to join her. It must be that time of the month for one of them. Or maybe for both of them. Whatever, as I have better things to do.
Maybe I should just setup a Trading Post, so the others can buy whatever they need without bothering me directly. But how would I explain the Vending Machine then?
It is not like they are my slaves, who I can enforce my will upon them. As such, once the Zone collapses and they are freed, they will surely blab about what I can do.
And I cannot have that.
Alex pays too much attention to Teressa and Cindy, and while he is not interested in either of them as a relationship, he still has some interests. "What would Jesus do?"
"He would do whatever the fuck he wants," I tell Alex. "Once you finally act your age, we can get down to the real stuff. But don't take too long because we don't really have time for that right now."
"Tsk. You're no fun," Alex responses. "And I am acting my age. I am only like 16 even if my mind is like way, way older. Only what down there counts."
I roll my eyes at that and teleport Alex and myself out of the Subway Station. There is no need to really tell anyone anything, as they do not need to know yet. And to be honest, only Thomas is annoyed for being left out.
Once the both of us in a completely different location, a System Window appears before Alex, and he eyes me questioningly. He shrugs afterwards and quickly has a read through what is being displayed.
"What the? What kind of gibberish is this?" Alex asks afterwards. "Oh. You're trying to rank it up!"
