Alex has his doubts, as he has seen some insane shits during his time as an adventurer. Nevertheless, he remains seated and pays his undivided attention to me, as I fill him in on things that have happened since his death.
I try to summarize the information as much as possible since it would take way too long otherwise. In spite of that, it still takes a while, and I suppose it is a good thing that nothing within the Life Zone can disrupt the Fast Travel.
That is just an assumption since I do not know what kind of monsters lurking in the shadows. But from what I have seen so far, I can roughly estimate the average level of all the monsters within the Zone.
And of course, I reveal this to Alex, as he needs to be aware. It is nice to talk to someone about these sorts of things and more. Alex has been through what I have, and while Alex does not fully understand some of my actions, he does judge me or question the morality of it.
That is why I am his friend, and he is more than just my best friend and confidant, considering that he has saved my ass on numerous occasions. I have also done the same, as I should. And honestly, I would have stayed behind with him to face the Darkness together, but we both knew that doing so would be the death of the both of us, as neither of us have the power to defeat the Darkness.
As such, it is better for one person to perish.
"Damn… that was a long ass story," Alex comments and yawns. "I nearly feel asleep at the start. Maybe I did because I have already forgotten most of it. You know, Zan, you could have just said nine assholes are left along with whatever shits they manage to crap out. Can't do it alone. Need my help to prevent Earth and everyone getting killed. Something like that."
I roll my eyes, and I suppose it is the gist of it. Of course, the other details are important too, but there is no need for me to point out. Alex has the similar photographic memory as me, and I am sure he will revised what I have told him later.
"Or I could have just imparted the knowledge directly into your mind," I point out. "Sorry. Must have slipped my mind."
"Right," Alex beams at me. "Looks. I don't need to know much, Zan. Between you and me, you're the one with the brain. Just point in the right direction and hope for the best. Anyway, I can't do shit with my current level, so I guess you have a plan to correct that?"
I smile and nod. "The Dungeon."
"You want to attempt the dungeon?" Alex questions. "Wait. What level are you?"
"Status," I request and allow Alex to have a look at my Status. There is no need to hide such thing from him, as he needs to know what I am capable off as much as I do in reverse. "Actually, it is better if we form a Party. That way, we can see each other status."
"Oh. Right," Alex agrees. "Coin flip to see who's the leader? Same as usual."
I agree and flip a coin. It lands on head, and I become the leader as usual, but not always. It is actually better for me to be the leader, as I am not a combatant.
"Have any plan to get the whole party together again?" Alex questions as he checks the Party Window, adjusting his own setting. "Just like the old time?"
