My class, the Merchant, is unique. But it is not the only unique class available. There are other unique classes, and Stellar, who was known in the future (my past) as the Hand of Fortune, also had a unique class.
While I do not know what her class was called exactly, but I do know it was based on the Luck Attribute as opposed to my class, which is based around the Charisma Attribute.
Unlike its name sake, Luck does not make a person more lucky in life. It merely affects the probability to their advantage, allowing them to get better rewards for their efforts, but Stellar was different, all because of her unique class.
Not only her class allows her to be more lucky, but she can also manipulate the lucks of others, taking away their luck or amplifying it. To the public, she is known as the Hand of Fortune, but to her enemies, she is their worst nightmare due to the endless misfortunes they suffer.
They called her the Hand of Failure because everything they did will instantly result in failure.
People who has absolutely zero Luck usually do not live for very long, and unfortunately, even her own luck eventually runs out in the end. Her death means a huge loss for humanity, and it was considered the start of the misfortune.
Of all the important people that I should help like the Major, she is probably the most important simply because of her class. However, everything has changed, so I am unsure whether she will play a critical role anymore.
Then again, the Major still do, and her awarded skill is similar to the class that she once has in another timeline. She was known as the Hand of Destruction due to the destructive nature of her power. Even her flames in this timeline are explosive, and that is her without proper training and control.
If that is the case, shouldn't it be the same for Stellar? She would gain an ability or skill similar to that of her class. I can only hope, and if she does, I must have her no matter what.
Sounds kind of weird, considering that Stellar is just a little girl right now, but I need to have plenty of Luck for the things I want to do.
To think that I would meet her here. Here of all places. Was she also trapped in the same Zone as me the first time around? If so, how did she… oh right, her class. No matter what kind of misfortune befall on her, she would turn it around instantly.
"What about you, mister?" Stellar asks, and I think she is curious.
"Stellar huh. You can call me… oh, I almost forgot," I chuckle. "you can call me Merchant, Stellar. Please tell me what kind of toy you want? There is no guarantee that I will have it though, so choose it wisely."
Stellar nods and asks for a pack of cards, and I believe that she only really wants a pack of cards to play with the other children. She had probably asked the adults previously, but they refuse her request on the account to her being a kid.
"Interesting," I response and buy a pack of card from the Shop System. I show it to her before speaking up once more. "Do you want to play a little card game with me, Stellar? It is very simple. You just have to guess which card I will pick."
"Do I get a reward if I guess correctly?" Stellar asks the obvious question, and I expect no less.
