"Are you sure you don't know her???? Don't lie to me!"
Aiden said before he took a step closer to the young man closing the distance between them.
But the young man also stepped back a little as soon as Aiden stepped forward, trying to stay as far as he could away from Aiden.
"Stay away from me! I told you already. I don't know anything."
The high school guy was already on the verge of tears when he said his reply and he could not look straight to Aiden's eyes so he kept his eyes glued somewhere else.
It seemed that Aiden's approach was way too sudden that it almost shocked the young man too much.
Or it could be that the guy was actually trying to hide some truth from Aiden.
That was why he was afraid that his eyes would betray him so he did not want to have any direct eye contact with Aiden.
Aiden has a gut feeling that it was highly likely to be the latter.
The high school girl ghost who goes by the name of Samara also stood next to the high school guy.
Her eyes were full of sadness as she stared helplessly on the young man who was bawling on the floor like a child.
"Is everything okay there???"
Dr. Coolman voiced sounded as he also went out of his office.
The high school guy made quite a scene just a while ago when Aiden tried to talk to him.
To the point that even Dr. Coolman was able to hear his voice inside his office.
Dr. Coolman was able to recognize who actually owned the voice that was why he decided to check what was really going on outside.
"I am so sorry."
Aiden was not sure how he could explain himself now that he was caught red-handed.
He was not sure why he was doing it in the first place.
Flustered and confused, Aiden ran away towards the stairs and hurriedly left the young man who was still sitting on the floor.
Aiden ran as fast as his feet could take him as he descended down the stairs.
Leaving the crying high school guy on the floor as well as the ever so silent high school girl ghost that stood silently beside the guy like a total mute
"I knew it! I am doing it wrong. I must have messed it up again! I should not have gotten myself into this mess in the first place. I must have lost my mind for a split second at that time. Tsk! I am just bringing more trouble upon myself. HAIXT!"
Aiden slapped his palm on his own forehead out of frustration as he eagerly tried to reach the ground floor as fast as he could.
So as he could leave that darned hospital once and for all.
'Ooooohhh GOSH! What is he doing there??!!!!!"
"Quick! Call 911!!!!!!"
"Poor child... Someone, please help him!!!!!"
Aiden heard a commotion as soon as he came out of the hospital.
There were a lot of people gathered around the front of the hospital and they were all looking upward with a nervous expression on their faces.
Some were even doing a sign of a cross.
Curious, Aiden also tried to check what was the cause of the commotion.
He looked at the same direction where the rest of the crowd was looking at and there he saw the same high school guy that he met just a few minutes ago.
He was standing on the edge of the rooftop and he looked like he was about to commit suicide and jumped to his death at any moment.
"THE HECK!"
Aiden was afraid that it was his action that triggered such desperate and dangerous reaction from the youth.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
The crowd shouted all at the same time when they saw the young man spread his arm and do a free fall.
Some even closed their eyes for they could not dare witness how an impending tragedy would about to unfold.
Likewise, Aiden also unknowingly closed his eyes but after a few seconds, he noticed that there was something strange in his surroundings.
So he opened his eyes again and looked around him.
That was when he realized that it seemed that the time suddenly stopped at that very moment.
Even the falling leaves from the nearby tree got stuck in midair.
It was as if someone paused the time and everyone around him was like frozen along with the time as well.
He looked for the fallen body of the young man in the hospital's front lawn but there was none.
So Aiden tried to look up at the rooftop, but the high school guy was still nowhere to be seen.
But what he saw instead made his heart skipped a beat.
Well, rather than saying that it was a 'what' that made Aiden felt that way, it was more accurate to say that it was actually a 'who'.
Because standing there at the edge rooftop was his greatest nightmare/ dream girl.
It was no other than, the infamous Queen of Darkness, herself.
