With her head hung low, the lady took a sharp left on the alley. She would look behind her shoulders every now and then only to see that no one was there.
For some reason, the other party had this impression that someone was tailing her ever since she had been in the park. Yet every single time she would look at her back, she would always found nothing behind her.
Quite peeved out by her situation, the lady decided to pick up her pace. She was eager to reach her destination and hide within the safety of her home.
But after a couple of steps, she stopped on her tracks again and abruptly turned around.
"Who are you?! Show yourself!"
She thought out loud, although she was not directly speaking to anyone. She used her eyes to linger around her but the only thing that she saw was the deserted alley before her.
