"There must be some kind of misunderstanding there. How could you tell that it was his wife just because she visited him at the hospital? Why not a family friend or a far off relative of some sort???"
"Exactly my thoughts, Ben. At most, they were just close friends or something."
"We should not be jumping on conclusions that easy, Clark. Besides I bet we could all agree that we never heard of Aiden having a girlfriend before so how could he possibly have a beautiful wife all of a sudden??"
They said one after another and offered their own take of the story as they tried to think of possible reasons to deny the matter altogether
"Believe what you want to believe. But there is no point denying it, and I assure you guys, that lady was Aiden's wife. In fact, she told me about it herself."
