When Scarlet was done exploring the mansion floors, Aqua led her to the lord's chambers.
"This will be your room, my queen." Aqua opened the door for her, and Scarlet was welcomed by a decent but lavish room. It wasn't as big as what she had in the Rozen Palace, but it was enough. There's a four poster bed, a vanity table, a full length mirror, a sofa set and a centre table.
Scarlet would've continued appreciating the room if not for Ishid, who was actually standing in the middle of the room, a relaxed smile on his face.
She froze, while Aqua's eyes traveled between them as an awkward silence stretched in the room.
"I brought him here knowing Talon isn't available to do his duties." Aqua said, talking about Ishid as she paused slightly, clearing her throat. "W-Was I wrong, my queen?" She asked, uncertainty in her voice.
