Jay woke up early in the morning. It is Saturday, but he still woke up early despite his desire to sleep more. He remembered not having dinner last night since he can't feel hunger, so he decided to just sleep.
He wants to continue sleeping when he heard some sounds, probably coming from the kitchen. He then realized that Randy have come home last night after he slept.
Jay fixed his bed and folded his blanket and placed it on top of his pillow.

Randy is preparing their breakfast when Jay emerged from his bedroom.
"Good morning Jay."
"Good morning Dad."
Jay first went to the bathroom to wash his face.
When he returned to the kitchen, Jay can smell the aroma of the food and it makes his mouth to produce more saliva.
"What time did you come home last night." Jay asked as he sat down.
"Oh that, I came home around Nine, since the traffic became worse."
Jay nodded in understanding.
"So how's the conference?"
"Well, it's good. The conference went well and of course we learned many things for our profession. They also announced an increase to our salary, so it's quite some good news."
Jay was happy if it's like that. There are times when he wondered how his Dad is doing stuff the university, and it seems like he is doing well. Except maybe in the times when he overworked overnight.
"Let's eat."

As the two are eating, Randy dropped some info for Jay.
"Miller told me that the Scorpion group will launch an attack towards the Knuckle Gang. The fight will take place in April, but the specific date wasn't planned yet. So we will have to wait for more Intel."
Jay's attention was focused on what he just heard.
"So, anything else?"
"The report from Miller says that Cap trained many men and he is ready to attack their enemy anytime in April. That's what Miller's spy told him."
Miller is a member of the Scar Group, and he is the richest person in the group also. He was the one who funded most of the Group's activities.
"I see." Jay made sure to plan well before doing anything.
Of course Randy knew what his son wished to do. He tried to persuade him to stop when Jay was a kid, but he let him be since the kid made his resolve to take revenge.
"Jay, I know you still wanted to avenge them, and just remember that I am here to support you, the Group is with you, and I advise you to not go alone."
Jay nodded.
Jay knew that he can't do it alone, so he planned to ask help from few of the members of the group, but he don't know who will he ask help from.
'I will talk to them if I have time.'

When the two finished eating, Jay gathered all the plates used and brought it to the sink to wash them.
"Oh, and also, the whole group will have a reunion at the end of March, so we should be present at that time." Randy said.
Jay's ears perked up upon hearing the good news. Well, it really was a good news.
'I look forward to it.'

Nighttime came and Jay is on his way towards the dark zones. He planned to visit Mardez and Xander so he can train. He doesn't want his fighting skills to turn rusty.
He is wearing the Scar outfit and he is traversing the dark streets of the zone to avoid anyone who will see him.
He can't see anyone but his senses told him otherwise. Jay is in the deeper parts of the zone so he is careful. After a few minutes, he arrived at the gloomy-looking mansion. Although the mansion surely looked great in the past, now it looks like an abandoned house, in which Xander luckily secured to be their base in the past
It may look old on the outside surface, but inside it is clean. It needs to be cleaned sometimes since few of the members will stay in this Manor in the future.
Not even avoiding the cameras, since Xander will know it is him, he calmly climbed the gate and entered the large house.
"Yo Jay, I didn't expect you to visit us. Well, we're happy that you visited us anyways. Come, have a taste of this ice cream we made. Sorry if it will not taste great to you."
Mardez was the one who welcomed him while Xander is busy watching a video.
"Oh thanks." Jay then approached Xander who was immersed in watching a video. Jay saw that it was a video tutorial on how to make a chocolate cake.
What the hell?
"Oh, we are currently experimenting some stuffs. You know, your dad probably informed you of what will happen at the end of March, so we want to at least prepare something for the group, hehe."
Jay understood their intention.
"So we want you to have a taste of this ice cream."
Mardez showed him a tray of ice cream. The appearance looks great, and even Jay was about to drool at the sight of it.
"You really made this?" Jay asked.
"Of course my boy, and it really tastes good. But we want you to taste it and receive your feedback."
Jay sighed and picked a spoon.
Jay scooped a spoonful of the ice cream and tased it.
Jay is letting the ice cream melt in his mouth while Mardez and even Xander is waiting for his words.
Jay swallowed it and sighed.
Mardez and Xander can't take it anymore so they asked him. "How was it?" "Is it good?"
Jay thwn answered them.
"It tastes..."
"It tastes what?" Mardez asked.
"It tastes really great."
That answer was enough to elicit smiles from the two. Honestly, Jay meant it. The ice cream was a milk-flavored one, but not too sweet. And it was mixed with probably some pineapple juice.

"So you dad told you what Miller have said right?"
"Yeah."
Xander stayed silent for a while.
"Actually, I wanted to help you." Xander's words surprised Jay.
"Re-Really?"
Jay didn't expect that he will help him. He told them of his plan in the past and now that Xander wants to help him, of course he is happy.
"Don't forget about me, I also want to help you boy." Mardez smiled as he sat down while having a bowl of the ice cream.
Jay can't help but smile. He was thankful for the two. Jay once thought of asking Natalie and Mark's help, but he doesn't want to involve them since they are still young and who knows what danger there is?
Wanting to thank them, Jay made a bold decision.
"Let's drink tonight."
The two are taken aback by the boy's words.
"Hey, we know that you want to thank us, but not this one boy, you're too young for this, and besides, you father may------" Xander's words stopped when he saw Jay opening the freezer and taking out a case of beer.
"Jeez, just let him be." Mardez just smiled wryly at Jay.
'That kid, jeez.'
The night went on as the three drank until Jay passed out after drinking four bottles of the beer. The beer was quite strong and since Jay is young, and probably his first time to drink alcohol, his body can't take it.
The two are smiling amusedly towards the young boy who is dead asleep on the bed.
"I can't believe he got drunk quickly."
"He's a kid after all."
"I want to take a photo of him now."
"Just don't embarrass the kid."
"Yeah."
"I hope Randy doesn't find out."
"Hehe."
