February 14, Valentine's Day.
Rubando High School held a half-day program for the school.
The occasion includes the search for Miss and Mister Rubando, Dancing and singing contests, School quiz bee, Spelling contests, and some intermissions from a few clubs.
After lunch, the school will announce the winners for each contests and award them before all other students go home.
Jay and Bren are one of the audiences watching the contestants for the Miss and Mister Rubando. The two of them are on the side part of the gymnasium and both are staring at the beautiful ladies on the stage.
He may not know it or what, but Jay only realized now that he may actually have a pervert side in him. Jay quickly hid his pervert looks and shook his head not to have people notice his looks. He can't afford to have people say that he is a lecher.
But he was suddenly reminded of a certain girl named Nea Rosario, who called him a pervert and a creep. Jeez, that was so embarrassing.
The crowd went wild when it was the Talent show for the pageant contestants. Jay saw Karla Mae Sali preparing to show her talent, dancing. She represents the fourth year classes together with a certain guy she was paired to.
The music started to beat as her hips moved with the rhythm and made the crowd go wild.
The dance included some sexy moves which made all of the males excited. Jay can't deny that he was also affected but he manage to get his calm. He looked beside him and saw Bren focused on the show with his head moving up and down with the music beats.

All the activities ended and the only thing left is the awarding ceremony after lunch time.
Some of the members of the Literature club are gathered inside.the cafeteria talking to each other.
"So I didn't expect Karla Mae to join that thing. And what's up with those sexy poses? That's cool." commented Jessa Kima before feeding her mouth with her food.
"Yeah, I want to have a photo with her after this." Rose Sachiko agreed.
"Me too." added Charlene.
"Yeah, me too." said Seckie Dario.
While they are eating, they noticed Jay and Bren enter the cafeteria and order their foods.
The two looked around to find a nice spot when Jessa waved her hand to them so they can use the other table beside them. Jay just ignored her from a distance and both he and Bren took a spot at a corner.
"Pffft.!" Seckie laughed upon seeing Jessa being ignored like that. Jay did not even show any expressions.
"I can't believe it. After so many months he is still the same. What's up with that guy?" Jessa resumed eating.

Bren and Jay exited the cafeteria and on their way to the classroom, they noticed that some of the students are weird today.
"So I gifted my crush a chocolate and I didn't expect to receive a gift from her too. I think I can die now of happiness." said a guy.
"I envy you dude, but it's not like I also want something like that." the guy's friend said.
When Bren and Jay walked a bit, they heard two girls conversing.
"Shit you're not gonna believe this, I received a letter from an unknown guy to meet up with him later on in our classroom. There's even a box chocolates you know, I'm excited to meet this guy. I didn't expect someone to like me." said the girl while giggling.
"Really? Can I see the letter?"
"Oh no, I can't yet to show it to you."
When they are about tor each their classroom,Bren told Jay that he also gifted Charlene a box of sweets.
"Does Valentine's day requires that?" Jay weirdly asked.
"It's not like that. We only do that to show our love to someone, you know, stuffs like that. But it doesn't mean you really have to do that. Some may go on dates too."
Jay didn't understand but nodded his head.
When they are nearing the entrance of their room, a certain girl blocked their path. Jay didn't understand what the girl wants.
"Uhm, what's up Crystal?" asked Jay.
"Uhm, this..."
Crystal then brought out a box, specifically a gift that was wrapped with a dark brown cover. She then stared at Jay shyly. Bren had a hint of what will happen,so he dashed inside the room leaving the two.
"Bren?...."
Before Jay could call out Bren again, Crystal brought the present closer to Jay, hinting that he should take it.
"Happy Valentine's Day Jay Elra." Crystal said after gathering her courage.
Hearing that, Jay felt his mind spinning.
"Uh, oh, uhm,.....for.....me?"
Earlier, Jay felt that those who received gifts this Valentine's day are weird people. He didn't know what's so special about this day. Sure this month was called the Love Month. But so what?
And now, right in front of him was a girl who is handing him a present. Chocolates maybe? Without thinking and not wanting to ruin Crystal's feelings, Jay accepted the gift without uttering a word.
Jay felt his heart beating faster like when he fought with his enemies in the past. But this time it is not a damn fight, this is...this is....this..is... Jay can't think of a word to describe the situation.
'This is not an indirect confession right? What does this mean about her giving me something?'
Jay let his imaginations run wild.
"It doesn't mean anything though, really.... I, uhm, I also gave gifts to all the other members of the Literature club, so I want to give that to you too. Hehe."
Crystal bowed politely and then left him quickly. "Have a good day Jay."
Jay was left alone, still holding the box of who knows what it is.
Jay sighed in relief. She gave him a gift because he was a member of the Literature club, like what she have done to the other members.
'I thought she likes me or what.'
Sigh. If only Jay knows.
Since the box is not that large. Jay put it in his pocket and went inside their classroom.
He spotted Jay in a corner playing his phone. Bren noticed him and ran towards him.
"Shit Jay, you better tell me what happened or I'll strangle you." Bren with his straight face whispered.
"Don't misunderstand. She gave me gift cause I'm a member of the Literature club. She also gave some to the other members."
"Really?"
"Yeah, it's not like she likes me, so better get off me before your stinky smell transfer to me."

In the Scorpio section.
Crystal was relieved that she had finished given all her chocolates to all the club's members, with Jay as the last one.
But actually, Jay's present was bigger than the rest, and more special than the others' gifts. Thankfully Jay was the only male in their club.
'I hope he likes it.'
Sigh. If Jay only knows.
