Tuesday.

After class, the whole Literature club gathered once more to start their work. Since January is the New Year's Month, the club decided that they will make a pamphlet that talks about the history of Rubando High School and all of the major events that happened until now.

The club went to the school library since all of the needed information are there. The school principal gave the key to President Amethyst so they can use the library whenever they wanted to.

"Oh, so this is the Library. It's my first time here." Jay said as he removed his hood.

"First time? You mean, you didn't at least visit this place ever since you came to this school?" Seckie Dario asked with her eyebrows raised.

Jay just nodded his head.

Then came Amethyst who placed several books, magazines, newspapers, and articles on the table. "Okay, so here are all the materials that I gathered that will be helpful in our task." She then proceeded to instruct everyone on what to do.

It is still four pm, they need to finish their work in an hour and a half.

As Jay is doing the task he was instructed to do, he learned some things regarding their school.

The school was built on the year 1990, but it was opened for students in the year 1993. It was formerly known as Santal National High School, after the name of the person who decided to have the school built and funded the construction, Fernan Santal.

Year 1996, that was the time that Fernan's son became the principal of the school. That year was also the time when the name of the school was changed to Rubando National High School.

Jay learned many things, like the achievements of the school, various events and occasions, the improvements of the school, and many more.

As Jay is browsing some of the newspapers, one things caught his attention. Year 2009, month of August, the month where the number of students who committed suicide reached 30. The community was alarmed and temporarily closed down the school for two weeks since it may cause further problems.

Jay looked for more data about it.

Year 2005. Month of August.

The suicides started when a male student hanged himself inside their classroom when all the students went home. The next day, the police investigated the matter and the apparent cause of the suicide was bullying.

However, two days after that five students are reported to have committed suicide. Three was found dead at their homes while the two is in the school. The suicide chain event continued until thirty student died. It was nearing the end of August when they temporarily closed the school.

After the temporary closing of the school, things returned to normal and there was no more suicides.

During the time of closing, the police had a deeper investigation. But all their efforts are useless since all the students that died have their own problems before their death.

Constant bullying, family problems, pressure in their studies, relationship problems, and other related matters.

Even ghost hunters visited the school upon hearing of the mysterious case of the school. According to them, there was a strong and unknown evil force that controlled the minds of those deceased students.

But Jay doesn't believe such bullshit.

He knew that there must be something fishy about it. Jay read the school records in the year 2009 and was shocked to read a name he was familiar with, Ronald Baron, the principal at that time.

Jay continued to read the newspaper he is holding.

("It was at mid-July when I conducted personal one on one counseling with all the students. I didn't expect that things will b come worse when this case occurred. I didn't know what to do anymore.")

Jay read the line that Ronald said when he was interviewed.

'Just as I thought.' Jay cursed that Ronald in his mind. He knew that things aren't what the man really said.

'I didn't expect that he did something like this. I swear I'll kill that man when I'll have the chance.'

Jay then read more and found out that Ronald Baron was replaced in the following year. Jay then continued to finish his task since time is running out.

Fortunately, they managed to finish their work. Amethyst then appeared, who is carrying a tray of cups filled with milk and coffee.

All the members chose their drinks and enjoyed their time while resting.

"I will have this compilation be printed out. Then we will make an initial of thirty copies. If things will turn out good and all will be sold, the we will make more of the pamphlets." Amethyst then laughed and proceeded to sip her coffee.

All the other members agreed and they drank their fill and got ready to go home.

It was quite late. Jay regretted not bringing his motorcycle. He had no other choice but to walk home for several minutes.

The other girls went on their way, leaving only Jay, Jessa Kima, Rose Sachiko, and Mylene Sali and Karla Mae Sali, who will walk on the same direction. The others bid wasved goodbyes and disappeared.

"Okay, so now let's all go home." Jessa said.

Jay planned to go first and leave them. He is the only guy after all. But doing that may make the ladies think he is not a gentleman. He then decided to let them walk a bit farther then follow them from a considerable distance.

The girls invited him to join their group, but he politely refused.

The sky is getting dark, and Jay doesn't know where these girls lived.

As the girls are walking, they met three middle-aged men. They aren't drunk, only a bit tipsy. The three bastards blocked the girls path and started to hit on them.

"What do we have here? Four beautiful creatures eh?"

Jay stopped for a moment when he saw the scene. Jay cursed those men. Unluckily, there are no people and vehicles passing by, and he don't know what will happen.

The girls tried to get away but the men grabbed their arms tried to touch their body parts.

"Hey, stop it already!" The three men looked to the source of the voice, although they still didn't released their grips on the girls. Rose used this chance to kick the man holding her. The man was hurt on his abdomen, but he just slapped Rose on his left cheek which made the girl cry. The other girls can't do a thing since they are hell by the other two men.

Jay was enraged when he saw Rose slapped. He practically ran towards the first man and delivered a blow on his nape, which made the man unconscious. Jay didn't waste anytime and turned to the other man and did the same thing, the only difference is that Jay gave the blow twice before the fell unconscious.

The only one left is the man who slapped Rose, but he released his grip out of fear.

"A lady, should never be slapped by a man no matter what the reason is." Jay then punched the man on his stomach and hit his neck using the side of his palm. The man fell unconscious.

Jay turned to the girls and apologized. He then approached Rose. "Are you okay? Does it still hurt?"

Rose wiped her tears and said that she was fine. The other three girls helped her stand.

"Th-thank you. If you aren't here, then we do not know what will happen to us." The four ladies expressed their thanks and Rose even hugged him. She was so scared.

Fortunately, the girls didn't asked how Jay learned to fight well.

Jay looked up and realized that it is getting too late.

"Let's go home now. For now I'll accompany you."

The girls then engaged in to a cheerful conversation with him with hearts in their eyes. They can't believe that Jay managed to do such thing, but they were amazed. They all walked home happily, leaving the three men unconscious just lying on the road.
