Friday morning.
The time for students to prepare for school.
Jay is preparing also his things, not to get ready for school, but for somewhere else.
After class ended yesterday, Bren informed him, including Natalie and Mark, that this Friday is his birthday. He even invited the three of them to not attend the class and go for a picnic.
Mark, upon hearing the invitation, became excited and immediately agreed. Natalie agreed too. Jay, with no choice left, decided to go along.
First, they will go to Bren's house. Then Bren said that they will have a picnic somewhere else.
Jay hurried and used his motorcycle to go. He checked to see if he prepared everything else he needs to bring. He also managed to prepare a gift for his best friend.
Jay found Mark and Natalie waiting for him in front of the mall near the park. Mark also used his motorcycle, with Natalie on the ride with him.
They want on their way and reached their instructed destination. Although the place is still part of Rubando, the place is more rural and peaceful.
"Yow, Come with me", Bren called out to the three after parking their motorcycles in a safe place.
"Happy birthday."
"Happy birthday Bren."
"Happy birthday."
The three of them simultaneously greeted the birthday boy.
"Thanks. Our house is just nearby. Follow me first and we will go to Kinek hot spring later", Bren felt even more happy.
Bren led them to a house surrounded by tall trees. Their residence looks refreshing that Natalie tried to breath as mush air as possible.
"What are you doing Natalie?" Bren chuckled at how Natalie behaves.
"This place is good. Your place seems similar to Jay's, but yours have more trees."
"Really? Thanks."
Bren opened the gate and they saw a man, probably around his forties, sitting on a wooden chair just outside the house. He looked and saw Bren with his three friends.
"Father, let me introduce you my friends. This is Jay Elra, this is Mark Genesis Gamora, and this is Natalie Saya, Mark's girlfriend", Bren happily introduced his friends to his father.
His father, is not actually his real father, but also his master who trained him. Since he is the one who took care of Bren, he adopted him when he was young.
"This is my father, Sito Naystugui."
"Hello Mr. Sito", the trio greeted and bowed at the same time.
Laughing happily, Sito extended his hand to shake hands with them.
"Nice to meet you kids", one after another, the trio shook their hands with him politely.
Seeing how they bowed at the same time as they shook hands with him, Sito became curious with them.
'Are these kids practicing martial arts?' Slightly bowi ng while having hand shakes, is a sign that the person trained in martial arts, but not all, of course.
"So you are my son's friends. I didn't expect that my pitiful son will have friends like you, hahahaha", Sito joked.
Bren just sighed to how his Dad behaves.
"Oh? So you also came. Nice meeting you here", a voice sounded behind them. It was Charlene Gregorio, who also was invited by Bren since she is his girlfriend.
The trio was surprised. Well, it is to be expected anyways.
"Charlene, are the foods ready?" Sito smiled and asked her. Seems like he accepted the girl. Well, he actually was happy that his son found a girl on his own.
"Yes. Let's go inside."
All of them entered the house. The trio was surprised at how good the house looks like in the inside.
When they all sat down in the living room, the trio brought up their gifts and gave it to Bren.
"Oh. I didn't expect that you will also bring gifts for me. Charlene gave me one also. Thank you then. I really appreciate it", Bren felt even more happy and joyful.
"For now, we will prepare everything and then go to Kinek hot spring. My dad will pay for the entrance fee."
The trio became excited, even Jay can't wait to get there, since he always wished to visit the place.
They all helped Bren carry some containers and boxes containing foods and placed it inside the van, owned by Sito.
After a ten minutes trip, they reached very peaceful place near the mountain.
Kinek, the name of the place. In here, was the famous Kinek hot spring.
They entered the estate and for the whole day, they enjoyed themselves. Eating foods, standing under the falling water of the waterfall, then relaxing in the hot springs, they are truly happy.
It was also after lunch when Sito explained to everyone that Bren was his adopted son. Of course he didn't mention a thing about how the two of them are also a member of a group, part of the Underworld.
At night, they all enjoyed themselves when all of them had their massage sessions. Natalie and Charlene grew closer as they both spent their time in the girls' massage room.
After their relaxing and soothing massages, they rested outside, looking up the stars. They are still not sleepy yet.
Mark and Natalie are paired, and also Bren with Charlene.
Jay felt like they are insulting him for being alone and single.
Sigh.
Sito noticed the situation and laughed at Jay. He then sat besides him.
"Do you have also a girlfriend Jay?"
Jay turned and looked at Sito. "Honestly, no."
"How about you Mr. Sito, are you dating someone?"
Sito didn't expect such question. "I have no plans about that yet." They then both looked up the sky and appreciated the numerous stars shining.
They spent the night at Kinek and in the morning, they took one last bath in the hot springs and prepared to go home.
The trio was the first to go home while Charlene went home a bit later than them after giving Bren a tight hug.
Bren was left alone in his room, with nothing to do, so he opened the gifts.
"A watch, from Charlene", Bren smiled widely.
"A shirt and a cap, from Mark."
"A pair of stockings, and two phone cases, from Natalie." Bren immediately used the case for his phone. "Nice."
"Woah! A pair of shoes?!" Bren opened Jay's gift for him and was surprised.
That's right. Jay investigated his foot's length and size and bought him a pair of shoes, using a bit of his money which was given to him by his sister Carla.
