Rosa wakes up early before the sun rises. As she moves to get off from the bed Graysen stirs from his slumbee when Rosa lifts the arm embracing her. He didn't let go of Rosa. He snuggles her for a few more minutes.
He huskily murmurs to her, "Let's enjoy the beach today." He pecks on her cheek and suddenly lifts her and carries her to the bathroom. She puts her down on the sink. He hugs her again and breathe her scent in then he steps out saying, "Time to prepare and change. Let's watch the sunrise together."
Graysen sees her as she walks out to the shore. He pins a smile on his face as he views her silhouette. Rosa wraps her body with a thin fabric on top of her swim wear. He comes near her and brings her to a table filled with hot breakfast of freshly baked corn breads, pancakes, poached eggs, beef tortitas, frankfurter sausage, crispy bacon, and freshly boiled black cocoa with molasses especially for Rosa.
They watch the sun rays slowly conquer the vast horizon. When the sunshine reaches Rosa's face, she closes her eyes reveling in its warmth. She stands and walks to the shore feeling the surge of waves at her feet. She stops and spreads her arms inhaling the fresh air, enjoying the morning sun. Graysen approaches her. He hugs her waist and kisses her shoulder. Rosa gets startled when his lips touch her skin. She feels like a tingling current runs through her body.
He leads her to the two white lounge chairs to laze around and sun bathe. Rosa removes her wrap and reveals a two-piece pastel green bikini. She puts on her sunglasses and stretches her body. Graysen feasts with his eyes watching her. He peeks at her from time to time while they both bask under the sun for a couple of hours. Rosa starts to drowse off when he pulls her to the water to cool off. Rosa gets back at him from disturbing her by splashing him with water. They indulge in a water fight until they get tired and choose to wade in the water hugging each other.
They order the lounge chairs to be transferred under the shade of tree in the afternoon. Graysen sits with Rosa and nestles her. Graysen occasionally smooches Rosa's back or shoulder as they munch on pineapple, watermelon, watery rose apples, and starfruits, and sip fresh coconut water while waiting until the glares of the sun reduces a little.
As soon as the high temperature drops, Graysen brings out the jet ski his father arranged for the island. He hands to Rosa a rash guard. After wearing his life jacket, he puts another one on Rosa. Rosa squeals, having fun when Graysen turns up the speed faster as they go round the island through the water.
When Graysen parks the jet ski, Rosa goes ahead upstairs to shower. Graysen leaves some directives to the caretaker before freshening up. He towel dries his hair and puts on a shirt hurriedly and goes down.
Rosa already waits for him at the dining table to have an early dinner. He scoops a bowl of native pig sour soup with boiled marble potatoes and carrots. He relentlessly feeds Rosa. Right after guzzling two bowls of soup, he pulls her up to retire early. He holds on to Rosa's waist, smacking his lips on her cheeks, forehead, lips, shouder, neck until they reach their bedroom.
Rosa feels queasy getting up in the morning. Stirring her head resting on top of Graysen's chest wakes him up. Graysen senses her temperature is warmer than usual. He gets up and puts his hand on Rosa's forehead. He wraps her with a duvet and goes down to get the first aid medicines and instructs the kitchen prepare an egg soup for her.
He feeds her the egg soup before letting her take a fever medicine. Rosa dozes off again. Graysen monitors if her fever reduces every 30 minutes. He takes great care of her the whole day never leaving her side. He only rouses her to feed her food and medicine then let her snooze again. Observing that her mien keeps getting better his worries diminishes. He finally lets up when evening comes as her body temperature seems normal already.
