Madam Desta tags Rosa and Brie along to the roof top of the Hilton Hotel. They enter a fusion restaurant.
Madam Desta quickly strides to a table near the 360 degrees glass window. She greets the man sitting alone. He wears a casual pink shirt with sleeves folded to his elbow paired with beige chino pants and brown loafer shoes.
"How are you doing?"
"Great! Finally you're here."
"I appreciate you setting aside your time to meet me," Madam Desta sweetly says.
"It's my honor to do you a favor my dear madam," the man formally replies.
"Correction. Am the one doing you a favor this time." Madam Desta turns her attention to her side "Alright, Rosa remember Graysen at the party?"
"Nice to see you again Senator Graysen," Rosa greets Graysen.
Senator Graysen stands up to greet Rosa extending his right hand. Rosa shakes his hand. Senator Graysen pulls a chair for Rosa. As soon as Rosa sits down, he pulls another one for Madam Desta.
Madam Desta stares at Graysen grinning. "I'm not here to chat with you. Oldies like me are no fun to be with. I'll leave Rosa with you to take care of. Have a pleasant lunch children."
Madam Desta grabs Brie settling down several tables away from them.
Rosa looks bewildered while Desta and Brie walk away. The senator notices it. He clasps his hands sighing. He peeks at Rosa observing her. "I guess we both don't have a choice, do we?"
Graysen goes back to his chair and hands the menu to Rosa.
"Since you are part of the Eder Chains of Restaurants, I hope this restaurant suits to your taste," Graysen comments.
"I do not have that much preference Senator. I eat simple things since I cannot really eat with my profession," explains Rosa.
"I'll go for your quinoa-chia salad, steamed fish, and nutmeg apple pie," Rosa gives the menu back to the attendant after ordering.
Graysen says with his eyes smiling, "It seems your food choices are fascinating. You do not forego desserts. " He glances at the attendant "Add to that a bottle of white wine and broiled chicken for me."
Brie and Madam Desta watch them congenially conversing from afar.
Brie smirks commenting, "I do not know that the great Madam has another occupation. You are a known publisher, famous society party organizer, now you also like to steal Cupid's job away.
"Ha, ha, ha." Madam Desta laughs at Brie's insinuation.
Madam Desta remarks, "Come on. They must get to know each other. Give them a chance.
"Let's see. Rosa might not speak to you after this. You know her," Brie grins at her.
"I think they are good match."
"I hope so. Cheering for you." Brie smiles subtly at Madam Desta.
"I dream to be a wedding organizer."
Brie quips, "I don't know whether you're just a highly-respected busybody or you have a hyperactivity disorder. You want to do a lot of things. So high-strung for your age. Was a Tasmanian devil your ancestor or a road runner?"
"Quit it dream detonator. I want to do it only for Rosa."
