"Now, do you believe me?" Mu Yuhaan asked, throwing his both hands under the head. He was lying supine on the bed while his legs were dangling from the edge.
"Yuhaan, I am sorry…" Mian spoke in a meekly voice, steeped in self-condemnation. Pangs of conscience influenced her to crumple the hemline of her sundress, too uncomfortable to even glance at Mu Yuhaan.
"I don't accept verbal apology. I need compensation." Being an adroit businessman, how could Mu Yuhaan settle down with a simple sorry?
"What is it?" Mian tilted her head to look at Mu Yuhaan for a brief moment, before lowering her gaze again. "I will try my best to fulfill it, if it's within my capacity."
"Two things," Mu Yuhaan showed her two fingers. "First, a kiss." He didn't say his second condition immediately, instead kept staring at Mian silently, exhorting her to fulfill the first condition first.
