The usually busy street was busier than usual.
Shew was having a hard time navigating through the streets not just because her eyes were quite misty but they were more crowded than they usually were.
It had been four years since she had been here. Many things had changed since then.
A faint smile crept on her face reminiscing the beautiful day when fate had made her run into the most beautiful person- who had become her everything.
She was looking around standing in the middle of the footpath when she caught sight of the same bridge. After leaving the boys behind all she could do was think about this place and hope that Timo would come here to find her.
Anticipation coursing through her veins she briskly walked to the bridge. She couldn't see him anywhere. The bustling crowd wasn't helping either.
She searched high and low but finally gave up after a long while. She turned around to leave but was shocked as a hand coiled around her waist and the person holding her pulled her into himself.
She looked up surprised and angry but her anger halted its rampage when the man's handsome face made its way to her vision. The smell of mint and musky cologne robbed her of her senses. Frowning he bent down to her ears.
"You are a very bad girl." He whispered breathlessly.
Luckily he was covered and not many would recognize him. Shew sighed in relief and turned around to face him, "I… I am really very sorry," She couldn't meet his eyes, "I... I…" nor did she know what to say in these situations other than sorry.
He lifted her face up with his free hand. Brushing the side of her face and her red-tinted cheeks
"I know." Timo could see her struggling, it pinched his core, "Will you trust me if I said it doesn't matter as I trusted you when you said the same thing to me?"
Shew nodded, "Yes." She trusted him but she couldn't let go of the fear gripping her heart.
A silent moment passed between them until Shew spoke up again, "Timo, will you forgive me?"
"That depends..." He let his words hang and didn't finish what he was trying to say.
"What?" Shew was confused.
She was so cute, Timo couldn't help but gather her into his arms and he let out a pained sigh, "Oh Shew…" He didn't know what to say. Words were unnecessary. He subconsciously tightened his grip around her body.
"C-Can't breathe.." She patted him on the back trying not to choke.
Timo immediately released her but his arms loosely hung around her, "Sorry." He sheepishly apologized.
They burst into laughter at their hopelessness, still in embrace. The crowd had gradually dispersed around them. Luckily the people didn't recognize him or both of them would have been crushed by his hoard of fans.
Shew buried her burning face in his warm chest while he chuckled at her embarrassment.
"Let's go", Timo pulled her from the arm and she obediently followed.
...
It was night on the top of a hill under the light of stars, laid down on the grass were, Shew and Timo.
They had escaped the bustling city and driven to this place. It was peaceful and cool just the way both of them needed. Shew had her head on Timo's chest while he protectively wrapped and arm around her.
The comfortable silence was broken by Timo, "I sometimes wonder if you hadn't walked in on our shoot that day then what my today would have been like." He caressed her gently, "It's scary you know. A future without you terrifies me a lot."
"That's why you went and hurt yourself?" Shew asked, gently touching his bandaged arm.
"I was drunk sweetie." He dismissed the wound nonchalantly.
"I am sorry…" Shew sat up, filled with remorse her gaze still on the bandage, "I really am…"
"Hey now!" He cut her midway, "You are here now and that's all that really matters to me."
"But still Timo, my concerns are actually not ridiculous." She looked at him earnestly, trying to make him understand the gravity of the situation, "I may have enemies whom I don't know about. It scares the daylights out of me whenever I think of my past becoming a threat to you."
"No, it will never," He pulled her in his arms again, "And if such a situation arises then both of us will face it together." He sounded really confident about their future.
"B-But…" She tried to reason,
He cut her off, "You trust me?"
"Yes." She nodded without even pausing to think.
"You trust us?" He asked again- emphasizing 'us'.
"I do." She said confidently.
"We will stand strong no matter what sweetie." He kissed her forehead, "Just believe in us always."
Shew smiled, "OK." She agreed with him. He was right. It was useless to panic.
"You are so beautiful," Timo whispered as if in a trance.
Shew visibly blushed, "I have been told that I look horrible today." She retorted.
"Whoever said that needs to get their eyes checked." He replied feeling wronged on her behalf, "You really look beautiful now, before and forever." His playfulness disappeared into a sincere look, "Shew I really love you, it hurts like anything. Please don't leave me ever." He confessed.
Shew's eyes filled with tears and for a moment her mind went blank. She flung her arms around his neck sobbing, "I have always loved you and you only Timo. Even I can't live without you."
The couple shared a warm embrace and capturing each other's lips in a searing kiss. Pouring all they want to say and express in that one single kiss. All the feelings, the wait, their love, and pain everything found a home at that moment.
