The slime jiggled like its panicking as it saw the fang marks. Ryuji looked at his arm that was bitten earlier and it showed discoloration. His skin color was dark green, but the bite area had darker hue from his skin color and almost black. He also noticed also the discolored area was creeping as if signifying that the poison is spreading. He remembered that documentary show from an animal channel back on Earth about venomous snakes and their bite victims. That show made him sleepless for a few days as snakes brought him nightmares. Now he is in the same situation with those victims and much worse. An unknown venom in a fantasy world is some shitty situation to be in. Back on earth, antivenin was produced and needed to be administered at a critical time. He looked at his veins that were affected were showing the same signs of discoloration and bit of swelling.
Ryuji conjured
A voice responded
Running out of options, Ryuji used
Ryuji also needed to seal whatever his hiding from the tree stump. "Pyun-Pyun, collect all the dead snakes." He ordered and the slime obediently complied. He gazed at the rabivore carcass they initially hunted and finally landing his sight on the dead stump behind it. All this time, whatever is inside it, have not reacted with the fight that broke out. He was thankful for that, but whatever it is based from the details given by
As the energy increased, he suddenly felt that an ominous gaze looking back at him, threatened by what he was doing. He also felt weaker by the minute as the venom starts to spread. He used the malicious gaze as his benchmark and overpowering it was the goal of the magic he was attempting to cast. When he felt his energy was enough to overpower the threatening gaze, he shouted, "
A rock wall quickly rose up covering him and the rabivore body out of the malicious gaze and moved like a wave in a sluggish way covering the tree stump like a tsunami. It covered the stump with a mixture of soil particles and then hardened. The tree stump was barely recognizable and looked similar to a brittle termite mound at the moment.
He heard the familiar chime
Ryuji felt very weak and then casted
They travelled back and he tried to identify herbs on the way and picking them up if it can stop the venom, restore his mana or health. Pyun-Pyun obediently picked up whatever his master directs. He watched him cast heal every now and then.
They reached the cave by after mid-day. They took double the amount of time traveling. Ryuji was cursing all the way back. 'Why do I have to experience this?' He thought and wallowed on the fact that he should have been more careful. He blamed himself for being inexperienced and unprepared. "Pyun, take out the vipers." Ryuji ordered the slime weakly. He is a bit feverish. He attempted to cast
The slime jiggled and it took out from its body the five dead vipers. Ryuji looked sickly at this point. He felt its slowly whittling away his life. "After a few days of being reincarnated, is this how will I die?" He muttered.
The slime seemed to hear that he was gloating. It made shaking movements in sideways motion as if telling Ryuji 'No, you won't die master!'. It grasped its tentacles to his master as if telling him something.
Ryuji chuckled. He found this little guy to adorable. He was facing death and this little guy was comforting him. He felt a little sad to know that this guy will be left fending for himself if he died. He is exhausted. After five years, he will die again after a few days. But he was surprised when Pyun-Pyun bounced dragging the body of one of the vipers to him. It made a series of gestures of eating the head.
It suddenly hit Ryuji. The slime's idea was radical but not bad. "That's great Pyun-Pyun!" Ryuji exclaimed. The idea of building poison resistance by using his unique skill
Ryuji ordered the slime to take out some of the herbs to restore a bit of mana if in case he needs to heal himself. He started to eat the head of the snakes. He began eating the battered one that bit him earlier. At this point he could not care if its raw or cooked, what matters is his survival.

Ryuji thought glanced at the bitten area and it looked like slow to spread. 'Damn, the skills have instantaneous effect in this world' He cursed. These skills are too overpowered to have an instant effect. Also, it seemed that the skill for poison resistance has a stack effect.
He ate two more snakes, no new learned skills. But it kept repeating the poison resistance being increased. He wondered about these vipers, are they really that venomous? He remembered that his poison resistance is mid-level but being affected by the venom was already tough on him. He ate the last two including the bigger viper that blocked them from escaping. The voice was like music to his ears.
