"Miss Wayne. You started Imperial Dynasty a few years ago but it was short lived. Are the rumors true that the reason Imperial went bankrupt is because of a fraud case?" The first reporter asked as soon as he got the chance to be heard.
"Yes." Trishelle answered without any fear nor did her expression change from her calm and collective demeanor.
"Is it true that the company was involved in the black market trading and embezzlement?" Another reporter asked
"Yes." The reporters got the same answer with the same reaction from her. Nothing more, nothing less.
This made the reporters speechless. There was silence for a minute before another reporter asked, "So since you admit to those rumors, why are you starting the business again? Are you trying to scam more people into investing in your company?"
The reporter was someone Heavenly Fire had arranged. Since Trishelle was making a press conference about it, they couldn't pass up a chance to tarnish her.
Trishelle locked eyes on the said reporter with a sinister smile. She knew that this was Cielo's doing. "No."
Everyone remained silent wanting for an explanation which Trishelle did not give. There wasn't any reporter who could make Trishelle say anything else other than yes or no however there was one reporter who caught Trishelle's attention by his question.
"Ms. Wayne, what do you intend to do in re-establishing Imperial? Which investor would support Imperial based on its history? And do you know who caused the mishap to Imperial?"
No one ever asked Trishelle if someone else was behind the fraud but this young man however asked her what she had been dying to hear for so long. Which meant that there was hope for her. Not everyone were brainless wimps.
Before Trish could respond to the young man, Cielo's lapdog rudely interrupted. " Will Mr. Wayne be investing or are you planning on piggybacking on Heavenly Fire? Rumor has it that you are very close with Heavenly Fire's owner."
Trishelle looked him straight in the eyes, "There will be no blood ties neither will there be any fake glamour contributions." She then turned to the young man who was patiently waiting for his question to be answered. "Imperial Dynasty had been framed for the fraud that happened a few years ago by a handful of greedy hung mungers. The ones responsible for that will get there reward when the time is right. As for re-establishing Imperial…"
Ellison answered for her, "The hands that held Trinity Hospital has now been changed. Miss Wayne is now the main shareholder of Trinity."
His statement caused everyone's jaw to drop. Who was Ellison Kyle? Only the most recognised and well-known doctor in the entire country. He single-handedly established Trinity Hospital to its peak and discovered many drugs that are used worldwide till date.
"Dr. Kyle. Did-Did you just say that Trinity Hospital will belong to Miss Wayne now? The hospital that you build from the ground up?" A reporter asked in disbelief.
"Yes." Ellison said with no hesitation.
"Doctor, can you give us a reason for wanting Ms. Wayne to take control of your hospital?" Another reporter asked.
Ellison looked at Trishelle loving before answering, "It's simple really. Miss Wayne had been the reason Trinity is what it is today. She inspired me to create the product that we all see and enjoy today. So why not give her the credit she deserves?"
There was silence in the crowd for almost a full minute before they went historical. Trishelle raised her hand to silence them once more. "Also I have partnered with Aethons Industry."
Before the crowd went historical again, the young reporter who had caught Trishelle's eye earlier spoke. "Ms. Wayne, Aethons is a company that has never partnered with any business before. Their security is top of the line but so far businesses have only had the chance to be contracted by them. How are you able to partner with them?"
Trishelle relaxed in her seat as she answered, "The owner of Aethons had easily agreed when she found out about Imperial three years ago."
The rude reporter interjected again. "How do we know that you're not lying just to get hype? Heck no one knows who the owner of Aethon Industry is. Why should we trust anything you say?"
This time Trishelle didn't say a word it was however that Kristen raised her hand to get their attention to quiet down. She took off her shades then addressed the lapdog, "Well then. If you're not able to believe Ms. Wayne, then you may believe Aethons herself, wouldn't you?"
The reporter almost lost his tongue. "If he was here, yes, I'd believe." He looked at her with a devilish smile without a care for who she was which he had absolutely no idea.
Kristen signalled some of her security team who were in uniform to surround the platform. After they were all in position she addressed the crowd, "I'm Kristen Yong, the owner and founder of Aethons Industry."
The crowd became loud again but this time no one stopped them.
"Ms Kristen. What evidence do you have that you are the owner of Aethons?" Heavenly Fire's reporter continued to incite suspicion.
"Heh," Kristen chuckled. "Are you an idiot? Did you not see the bodyguards? Maybe you are blind."
"Exactly, which press company are you from? Don't u recognise Aethons Industry logo on the bodyguards' collar?" Another reporter questioned him.
Heavenly Fire's lapdog reporter blushed and was speechless. He sat back down, not saying another word for the rest of the conference.
The conference came to an end after addressing all the questions. When the trio stood to leave, some of Aethons Industry's sercurity team shielded them from the advancement of the press and guided them out of the building.
