The intensity of pink light kept increasing as the distance between the couple and Crux increased. The pink light was back creating it's magical aura back again.
Nupin and Mizora were fast enough to solve the labyrinth of barren Aljar and reach till the river. A winning smirk appeared on Nupin's lips which reflected in the water of the river. He took a glance back at Mizora who had a similar victorious smirk. The pink moonlight was adding in her magical aura. Her brunette hair was flowing in a wavy pattern and her red lips were shimmering which made Nupin kiss her sensually. After their affectionate gesture, they looked back at the river of Aljar.
The crystal colour of the river was reflecting it's pseudo purity. In reality, even a drop of Aljar river was enough to kill a mortal as it was shibboleth of Rycal (most poisonous snake like creature) which made it poisonous.
Nupin looked at the flow of carefully in order to see the flow of stream and it was from west to east. It was sure now that rift of Aljar valley was in west direction. They didn't prolonge their static state and started their voyage in the west direction.
On the other side, Crux was cursing the sharp pointed arrows and Mizora for his injured body. His body needed red metallic liquid in order to regain his strength. His craving kept intensifying with each ticking of clock which resulted in his restless form
His eyes were desperately moving hereand there to find the source of blood which could quench his thirst.
A deadly smirk made it's place on his lips when his red orbs settled on the white furry wolf who was shivering under him. He licked his upper lip imagining the luscious taste of the wolf's thick red blood.
His canines protuted out adding more into his beastly feature. Inspite of having an injured shoulder, Crux didn't face any difficulty in piercing his claws feel inside the wolf's skin.
Within seconds, the wolf was lying lifeless infront of the demon Crux.
Crux brought his hands near his nose and felt satisfaction when smell of the blood reached in his mind. Then in order to not let even a single drop of blood go waste, he licked his claws and then the ground where blood had blotted it. He inserted his sharp canines deep in the wolf's neck and sucked in all the blood enjoying the process thoroughly.Some drops of the blood painted his chest red giving him a horrifying look. Each drop of blood which he was gulping in was giving him enormous strength and was helping him to heal faster.
Soon enough, all his injuries dissapeared without leaving any mark on his body and eradicating all the proofs of attack happened on him. Though he was healed physically but his emotions were a ball of frustration. He wanted to suck in all the blood of the pathetic, fit for nothing couple. He couldn't digest the fact that he was attacked and taken over by the couple.
He glanced back at the dry flesh of the wolf and murmured a sorry which was wrapped in an unapologetic tone as if mocking the very word sorry. He had to reach till Aljar valley before it's rift closes because closing of the rift directly implies the close chances of his entering in Cyan and ruling it.
Using his werewolf senses and vampire speed, he reached till the river soon and without wasting a second he turned himself in the west direction and started moving.
He was now able to see the magical valleys and got confused that which was the main valley which would take him in the city of Cyan but his confusion got cleared when he saw two valleys slowly and gradually merging. He increased his pace and spotted the couple.
He wanted to suck in the light but it was too late because he spotted Nupin in his blue eagle form who had already crossed the rift with Mizora.He cursed under his breath when both the valleys came dangerously close. He zoomed through the valleys and at the end, he was able to squeeze his frame inside before rift could close.
