Chapter 6 - witch Nira

Her light brown hair was carelessly falling on her shimmering face which could be spotted even in dim lights of the artistrocatic club. From her rosy straight nose , well defined brows, crystal blue eyes to thin but beautiful lips, all screamed perfection.

White almost invisible scarf was draped around her head which darkened in colour as it descended to her neck. Sitting alone on a bar stool, she had crossed her leg which made her shining silver stilloutes visible. The way she held the glass in her right

hand was perfect to say the least.

The soft music playing through speakers was working wonders on ladies and gentlemen who came to relish with a peg or two. Unlike usual clubs, it didn't have much crowd or creeps. He glanced around to see if anyone was watching the heavenly sight but to his happiness, nobody was! It was a strange phenomenon because her scarf, black velvety gown made her aloof from others and her beauty was soothing to eyes. Not even the bar tender paid any heed to her, instead, he ignored her. It seemed as if she was not visible to anybody apart from him.

His breath hitched when she elegantly raised her eyelashes to look at him.

' Who is she? An enchantress? '

Her eyes bore into his for a minute before she smiled. Ah! That smile! It induced a visual where pearly moonlight danced freely on ocean water creating a sizzling painting.

Bulbs kept changing their colours from time to time giving him the chance to inspect her in different lights and she looked enticing in each one of them. Keeping her glass down on the bar table, she uncrossed her legs and finally, her silver shiny stilloutes clicked against the ground.

When she stood up, he inspected her attire thoroughly. She was wearing a long black vintage georgette gown which looked odd in twenty first century. There were no ornaments on her body but then again! There was no need of it.

She bit on her red lips and turned around to leave the room. After taking two small steps, she stopped and turned a bit. Looking over her shoulders, she tilted her and smiled. The blue light hitting on her face created a magic and he himself didn't know when he kept down the drink started chasing her.

He didn't know where was he going or what was he going to do. It appeared as if his soul was under a spell. He ran faster when the lady took a sharp turn. As cliché as it sound, fear of losing her was raising his heartbeats. Running faster through partly lit hallways and climbing stairs after stairs, even skipping one or two at times, he reached top floor of the club but she was no where to be seen. There were rooms on the both side of the hallway for people who decide to spend their night in club itself.

He was panting hard and his   hands were resting on knees.

'I lost her. '

As soon as this thought cross his mind, he heard her melodic chuckle behind him. Animatedly, he spun and there she was! Standing near the corner of hallway taking wall's support and smiling teasingly at him. Inspite of his harsh breaths, he felt relief and without wasting a single second, he rushed towards her fearing that she would again disappear but it didn't happen.

When he reached near her, he was fast enough to pull her in his embrace and she let him do so. In fact, she laughed heartily and held his hand. Oh, the soft hand of hers! They were smooth like silk,  tickling his skin gently. His grip tightened on her hands when she led him towards one of the rooms. Opening it automatically without a key, she pushed him inside. He was so into admiring the beauty that he didn't bother to notice this creepy event.

No sooner did they reach inside, he was fast enough to throw his navy blue blazer while the lady chose to elegantly sit on the bed.

After smoothly running hands in his blonde hair, he smirked at her. He crossed his hands in order to take out his white tee immune to the fact that his world was going to turn upside down.

When he rose his tee till his face, he again heard the lady laughing. Hurriedly, pushing it further, he finally removed it from his head and glanced at the lady and the scene in front of him literally made blood dry out from his veins. There was no beautiful young lady sitting on the bed, instead it was a horrific demon like creature sprawled on the bed who was covered in black veil. Apart from it her body didn't have any piece of cloth but it didn't arouse him, instead, it numbed him with fear.

His body paralysed with shock and terror looking at the lady. Was lady the term to describe the henious creature sitting on the bed? No, it wasn't. The lady whose youthfulness glowed on the face was now a pale hag!

Her black crown added to her horrendous charms and her crystal blue eyes were now pitch black glaring at him and for the first time, she spoke, " I hope you enjoyed meeting the witch Nira, mortal man."

The voice was so rough and broken that it could shake even a dead body lying in the graveyard.
