Today is the first day of the New Year and the day of my wedding with Abberon, The day we have been waiting for, for so long. We are the first to wake up and train our sword skills early in the morning. While training we reminisce about all of the time we have spent together, although we have been together for only 2 years we have experienced so much together.
A major war, saving 2 countries, reviving one and almost dying multiple times during that time span. We have lived through some things which most people either don't experience at all or just experience once in a lifetime but we still are full of life and dreams. Not only being the strongest together but also to live together and spend time together. We think about the occurrences behind our meeting and somehow thank that DevilKin Chief as well for his invaluable contribution to the fact. Although we still don't like him, we are somehow grateful to him.
After practicing we both kiss and then head inside where most of them are up and ready for breakfast, we head towards the dining hall to meet with them and have our breakfast. My parent's and Abberon's brother are already there and waiting for us and the maid's are slowly bringing in the food, The actual wedding will begin in the Shrine we have built to the right of the house, it has the statues of Goddess Belladina, Great Dragon God and the Great Demon God because like with the dragons the most supreme being in the eyes of demons is their God so we have his statue as well. Helios and a minister from the Demon Realm will conduct the wedding. Well Grandpa is the supreme being over here but no one knows about that.
After our breakfast it is time for us to get ready and wait for the different parties to come, there are about 120 more people to come. Elysia and the Knight Chief will be together with the King and his family and few servant's and the Duke will be at his house with his family and few servants whom we need to get. After getting them and waiting for the arrival of some other parties we will begin the rituals for our Wedding.
We both dress up in Modern Earth clothes for wedding which we had gotten specially made by the Royal Sartor the one who makes clothes for the King. It is an Exquisite Black Three-Piece Suit studded with precious gems and a white shirt with a pink tie underneath. While what Abberon is wearing is a light greyish red made out of the best silk available which is studded with diamonds and precious stones and on her head as a headdress she is wearing a crown I have prepared for her for our wedding.
The cake is already here and most of our guests except the ones I need to get are here, alright I will go and get them.
I open a gate and bring the King, Queen, 2nd Prince,3rd Princess with 4 servant's and the Prime Minister, Military Chief, Knight Chief and Elysia. On the other hand at the Duke's residence I get the Duke, his wife and Sera. I also need to go to the Adventurer's Guild to get Sheila and Sylvia. One by one I go to all three locations and bring all of them to the mansion and each one of them have the same reaction. Whoever enters the house just becomes lazy and sits down while sipping hot chocolate with marshmallows. The King asked me to sell him some of it so I decided to just give it along with the tre fuochi glasses to everyone. As we begin the wedding rituals.
We arrive at the shrine and pray to all 3 gods as we begin the rites of marriage. Helios and the DemonKind minister conduct the rites as Abberon is brought to the altar by her brother and we say our vows to each other. That we will forever be together and take care of the other regardless of any circumstances.
After saying our vows and gaining the blessings of the 3 God's we head back inside to the mansion and begin the Banquet. Everyone enters the ballroom and we commence the banquet. There is a full band orchestra there and the chibi spirits are all dancing to the tunes although no one can really see them because they aren't materialized yet. Although they are present here in their astral forms. Ever since they gained consciousness and were materialized for the first time they have been continuously asking me to keep calling them frequently so I just decided to permanently summon them so they can just stay here and go back if they need to but here all they have been doing so far is only lazing around and eating various stuff although they don't need to. Its alright though, they are cute so they are forgiven.
The toast commences and The King toasts us, my parents, the Duke, Abberon's brother and Helios.. But the moment Grandpa was going to give his speech he turns around and looks towards the border of Resou Empire. Then he looks at me, I nod and let him know that I already know about it. The golem's are there right now to see what they want. There is a lone rider on horseback and there are hundreds of, no maybe thousands of small things behind that person.
That person who is rushing towards this location appears to not have any malicious intentions and is neutral and unknown to me so we get a golem to bring her with it. Looking at the person on the horseback what I see is a lone figure of a female with her dress almost completely torn as she heads towards this direction. When she first sees the golem she freaks out but when she sees that it doesn't attack her but assess her and is guiding her she follows it.
That woman when I analyse her it shows that she is a Princess of the Resou Empire, but why is she in this condition? and why is she here? I tell Abberon about it and head towards that Princess on horseback and go in front of her. She immediately stops in a hurry and is startled as she exclaims
"Help us, take me to the strongest man in your kingdom and save Resou Empire for glory."
"Please return to your own Kingdom if you wish to call someone for glory, we have no need or want to help Resou Empire which has kept on attacking us if they hold such condescending attitude. Have you come this far only to look down on people while asking for their help without even introducing yourself first? "
She starts to cry as she sniffles and answers
"I am sorry, I am sorry. I need your help there are insects, silver insects everywhere and they are killing everyone.... They killed father and older sister and older brother. Please help us."
Hmmm. for this kind of situation to occur in Resou Empire is extremely weird. Although they don't have a 9th Circle Master they have some of the most excellent and extensive army in throughout the Northern and Southern continents for this condition to occur and for their Princess to come in such a hurry with thousandth of insects in tow.
"Alright, your request is accepted"
I say as I release a massive Fire Magic spell behind that Princess.
"Ahhhhh! What are you doing?"
She looked behind her and screamed in a startled voice.
"Those yes those are the ones that attacked us. Please save me."
She said as she got down from the horse and ran behind me. I then contact Abberon, Grandpa and Helios telepathically and inform them to
"Abberon, Grandpa, Helios please protect the party. I will handle stuff here."
"Ok, although we can't use any divinity so we can only fight as regular 9th Circle Masters"
"That is more than enough, thank you."
"Red, let me know if you need any help."
"Okies, I will call out to you if I do."
Although I said that, I had released a Fire Magic spell at level 7 at them and it didn't even so much as scratch them. Looks like these uninvited guests are quite tough, Haha, seems like I finally got something to test out my new abilities against.
