Magic like I had said earlier is the ability to cause certain phenomenon by using Mana as a resource and catalyst. The bigger the intended effect the more resources/fuel is needed and to store more Mana than your current body can store, it concentrates that Mana into Circles which act as a means of judging how much and how pure/concentrated of Mana it requires to use certain spells, which means that people can use spells without circle's and just Mana but it takes strain on them so that Nihonium golem with Raine which has the ability to gain circle's being almost invulnerable and store an incredible amount of Mana is a massive progress in the field of Magic Research.
That process of tempering that body would take 5 more days and during that time Raine will stay home and refill her Mana. While we will explore those locations of unusual sightings and check them out. When we went to invite the King and told him about those he just asked us to do it ourselves and to report it to him directly because delegating it to others might take too long as they are quite far away from the Capital and will take time to communicate it to them. He also trusts us and when he added a reward we readily agreed because we were anyway planning to see it.
We first head to the closest location near us the Great Red Plains, it is 300km away and would take us about 15minutes to reach there if we run there at half speed but because we are not in a hurry, we can take our time and reach slowly. We decided to just use that as a running training and run that distance, it takes us around an hour and a half to each while running and we stopped once to grab some local street food for us and Raine which I put in my storage and then we ran again.
The moment we entered the perimeter of the Great Red Plains, we are assaulted with the presence of at least 5 different kinds of huge amounts of Aura so I instantly checked my [World Map] and saw 7 twin-tailed scorpions who had turned into Behemoths within these 50kms, this completely changes things. These amount of Behemoth's is not only uncommon it is practically impossible because even changing into one it would take beyond massive amounts of Mana which is normally very difficult to gather and most of the normal monster's would just explode with that much energy rapidly poured into them. Should we deal with them or should we first inform the King? After much deliberation I decided to capture that scene using Information Magic
and we leave to inform the King but not before I cast a barrier at the entry point of the Great Red Plains, which would stop most creatures from not only exiting but also entering.
We head to the King's Castle and seek his urgent audience and when the King came in soon we showed him those recordings and their locations on the [World Map] he looked at with worry and called his Prime Minister, Military Chief, Knight Chief and Administrative advisor for a meeting and called us to show those occurrences and to ask us about what we think we should do. Although beating 7 Behemoth's who are each peak 8th Circle monsters separately is fine hunting them in a group will be dangerous even for us.
"If the Army and Knights can handle 2 of the Behemoth's for some time while we engage the other 5 Behemoth's in a fight and kill them it will be fine but if while we are facing these they attack the only thing we can do is cast a massive destruction spell like with the Black Dragon which will obliterate everything in that 50km radius and waste those underground mines. So we were contracted for the Disposal of five Behemoth's while the Military and Knight's handle one each. The Prime Minister looked like he was thinking something but because he didn't say anything we don't ask him about it. Although there are two 8th Circle Master's coming with us, these Behemoth's seems to be stronger and they are each bringing 20 elite soldiers and Knights to train them against Behemoth's.
We ask them to get ready and meet us in half an hour, they nodded and left to prepare their troops. About half an hour later we see the troops coming in while riding horses and carrying a heavy load.
"Oi, Oi, Oi what all are you carrying for it to be this heavy?"
"These are rations for the trip, Sir."
I hit my head and ask them,
"How do you think we are going to the Great Red Plains?"
"On horseback, Sir it will take us a month to reach there otherwise."
"You idiot's drop all this weight, you are coming with me, you don't need all this."
Although they dropped those bags, they looked like they had question marks on their heads because their leader's have told them to listen to everything we say.
I put those bags weighing several hundreds of kilograms in my storage and just as they were going to blast with question marks, I opened a gate to the Great Red Plains and push these guy through. While those leader's were just standing back there with a cramped smile about something and a laughing face at these troop's state. They entered through the gate and we were the last to enter.
Over on the other side everyone looked so surprised they looked like they will almost cry. So I apply calming magic on them which surprised them again but it was relaxed. We then ask them which behemoth they wanted to hunt and the two chief's whom the King had me tell some of our abilities to were still in shock but had gotten sharp the moment they felt those aura's as well, they really were elites of our Kingdom. They each choose a behemoth far away from the main cluster to attack it and keep it from coming near us.
Abberon and I head to the centre cluster of these scorpions and start casting special magic, these monster's have an exceptionally strong exoskeleton and skin, while their twin tail's are excellent for both attacking and defending and contain deadly poison which will kill most people, so after informing them about these quirks we head for our mission. We both then cast a magic which will nullify all poison and a magic which will automatically heal any wound we get, and also we create a magical barrier on our bodies and then we attack.
I use my sword and test my skills while Abberon is using a newly constructed war halberd which is stronger than currently present in this world. After fighting it for 30seconds we have discerned that although it is very strong it is just raw power and it doesn't possess any techniques to use it properly. It's intuition is decent, but that's it. It is nothing to take home about, if those Military and Knight troop's properly utilise their power's it will be a relatively easy victory.
