Just as we were going to leave for our rooms we heard someone screaming that Opera was kidnapped. We jump out and reach the screaming voice to tell us what happened but he couldn't form any words. So I casted a spell to calm his mind and then asked him again, he said that A few people wearing head to toe black outfits have come and taken Opera. "She would have escaped if it was just her but they threatened her using me so she went with them quietly, they were going to kill me as well but she casted a spell on me letting me get away and come to you where she informed me to visit if she ever faces any unforeseen problem so I headed straight here as soon as I got away from those crooks."
Damn it! I wasn't ready for that, shit! I didn't put a marker on her thinking that that was probably a one time try, but it appears that it was a premeditated hit. Damn! Unruido-Chan come out, do you have any idea where Opera is?
"Wait, let me see. I am not able to find any hits on her location except a faint trace of her aura 100km away and is rising. I place a marker where her aura's presence is.
Shit! Did they use a teleportation scroll was kidnapping Opera worth that much? Although I use it regularly other's aren't that fortunate they can only use teleportation scrolls which are disposable items but cost almost a fortune to buy because of the rarity of a Space-Time Magician and it will only take you to a predetermined location. Me and Abberon nodded and I opened a gate to Deika City. And we both wore the Lightning Body and ran, our speed was much much slower than that because although our bodies were trained enough to withstand the full speed our internal organs would shred before we reach there because it is not developed yet, we need a certain level of cultivation before we could cultivate our internal organs and viscera which is 8th Circle but we didn't have time to do it till now because of the continuous problems we have been facing. We rushed to that area where the marker was and it was through the border of another country as we entered through it we flew through the air to help us find the location more quickly.
It was a dark winter night and we looked around desperately in order to find Opera who has been kidnapped by those men wearing black attires, me and Abberon who don't have any leads on her location except the aura which was shown to be 100kms away earlier has become over 150km and is increasing, even Unruido-Chan who is the avatar of Information Magic couldn't figure out where Opera was taken and so we head for the general direction of where we could feel her aura was emanating from but the search area was 150KM and was rising rapidly. As soon as it hit daybreak it disappeared completely without any trace.
"We both have spent the better part of the night in order to find Opera but we are heading nowhere and we even lost track of her aura, Un-Chan said that she will find her location by morning and because they have spent that much effort in order to kidnap Opera, they won't harm her in any particular way so the moment we find out about her location we will head out. For now let us just stay here at this red beaten down Mansion so we can leave at a moment's notice."
Instead of going inside it we just decide to camp just outside the Mansion. The outer perimeter has a dense growth of trees indicating that it hasn't been touched by humans in a long time. While I use Earth Magic in order to create a place for us to sleep, Abberon decided to venture forth and explore the abandoned structure. She entered through the door which creaked with a loud noise and after just a few minutes of going in she called out to me and asked me to join her in exploring the place. I who just completed preparing for us to live here head towards her after acknowledging it.
I go in through the door and Abberon came from behind it with a cute boo, although I have an alarm system with my information magic because Abberon has no malicious intent it doesn't ring even though I notice that someone is in there. Just as she said boo she fell onto my arms and she told me that she wants to explore this place together with me. So I prop her up on my back as we head in and explore that area. Although it had been abandoned for a long time all the furniture were still there and were in great condition except for the layers of dust settled on top of it. We go around looking around this huge mansion although we are worried about Opera, our mind's right now are only filled with thoughts about each other and of this house, we keep flirting with each other, although I feel like something is wrong I can't point my finger towards what that is.
We keep looking around and reach the first floor, there are 3 floors in this Mansion and what appears to be over 3 ballrooms, 5 salons, 2 billiard rooms, and a few lounges. There are even 3 kitchen's and 2 meeting room's, there is also a huge stack of books in a library which is larger than the 3 room's where we stay in combined. What is weird is that I don't ever want to leave here and what is weirder is that I don't care about anything else. After we enter what appears to be a bedroom we sit down on the bed and the moment Abberon bend's in to kiss me my system comes up and tells me, high level arcane enchantment spell resisted as I jump off the bed. This enchantment spell was probably the reason why although I felt that something was wrong I was not able to understand what it was. I then ask that being taking the form of Abberon about what it was and where Abberon is. This being is at least a 9th Circle Master and a great one at that in order to have me not understand it's intentions. It is still showing no malicious intent towards me making my magic to calm down. That is the only reason I haven't attacked yet, I check on my marker and Abberon is right here and is alright. When I release killing intent that form immediately turns to the appearance of a small girl and say's
"Please don't attack me, although I am a ghost no one has come here in a long time and I have been lonely so I just wanted to play when I saw your friend and when I took over her appearance I got all of her memories and I started to feel what she feels and decided to play with you, she is safe and is sleeping in my room so I decided to play with you till she gets up. Although I am a ghost I don't have any fighting power and am very weak so please don't kill me. Looking at her I sighed, she has an incredible power but she herself is not aware of it, my magic told me that she didn't have any bad intentions and she was telling the truth so I decided to let her go in exchange for leading me to where Abberon is. She delightfully skipped and took me to where Abberon is. Abberon is sleeping peacefully on the couch so I just let her while I decide to meditate a little.
That enchantment spell was too strong if she had any malignant intent I would have fallen prey to it, I need to be careful and this little ghost looks so sad thinking that we will leave so I decide to tell her that we will come here to play with her when we have time. When she heard it she was overjoyed and started causing poltergeist effects. When she suddenly asked, "Do you have a house? If not you can stay here. You are the only one who wasn't afraid of me and run away, I developed this skill when I was lonely after everyone was afraid of me and left me so I decided to do something in order to make friends but even though you are not under its effect you are sitting beside me." She is correct about people being afraid of her and if she doesn't find any friends she might turn evil and we also don't have any house and have been living at an Inn so this place might be nice, the next time I meet the King I will ask him if I can buy this. That's when I heard a *beep* and the location of where Opera is was displayed on my system. I wake Abberon up and tell Raine, that little ghost whom I named that we will be back and left with a confused Abberon who was asking me about what happened as she doesn't remember anything so when I tell her what happened she gets flustered and punches me.
We then wear lighting on our bodies and rush forward in order to find Opera and rescue her.
