As Eason and Rayan rode on Rayan's levitation vehicle, they found themselves in front of a huge mansion.
Eason couldn't help but marvel at the size of this mansion. It looked like a modern palace. Then something triggered in his mind as if he felt this mansion was somewhat familiar to him. It didn't take long before he found out why this palace felt very familiar to him.
This modern palace was in fact his sister's home. He definitely knew that this street was made of houses within which luxurious people lived. That's because he had already seen various houses on his way here for his reference.
Without any surprise, he saw a beautiful woman standing in front of the mansion. She looked over at him. Eason definitely could feel the rage within this woman towards him.
Eason wasn't surprised at this. He had run off for over a month and this woman had spent quite a lot of effort in finding him. That's right, this woman was none other than his sister, Lynette Elaine.
________
Inside a mansion in Rias City,
A young man was sitting on a sofa. Opposite of him, two women sat on a two-seated sofa. They were his sister and his guardian.
Lynette Elaine, his sister truly had a knightly aura. You couldn't help but get suppressed under her stare yet Eason wasn't anything like that. Eventually, his sister initiated the conversion.
"I hope you have a good reason for running off". She spoke releasing her avasci. Eason clenched his teeth yet he didn't relent from staring back at his sister.
Eason laughed.
" Hahaha. The reason is simple, I don't want to go along with the flow of other people. I felt like you would definitely decide everything without my consent. Thus, if I don't retaliate slightly, you would truly think that I am someone you could just push around." At first Eason spoke like a friendly brother yet his tone getting more stern as he spoke.
Eventually, he released his avasci. In fact, usually it's hard for anyone to notice that he was an orange grade avascian rather than being a red-grade avascian. Yet his sister could detect his advancement, considering her strength and intuition.
In fact, relationship between then was very good, it's just that he felt, he shouldn't get swept by his sister's flow of doing things. His sister always liked to force things upon him, she believed that everything she does for his sake was the right decision. So, he should set his direction in his own way.
Lynette couldn't help but raise her brows as she inspected Eason with overwhelming avasci pressure.
Eason could feel the air around him infiltrated and tried to feel him up, here and there. He knew that his sister was inspecting him. He let it be, since whatever he wanted to hide from her would remain hidden.
After few minutes of inspection, he felt like he got freedom. It seems that his sister has stopped doing what she has been doing until now.
She looked over at Eason.
"You've become cocky, hah? Well it seems there is no problem with your body. I'm just curious, how did you breakthrough in such a fast manner? Oh yes, you also need to tell me of why it just took 11 days for you to awaken." Lynette then waited for his explanation.
"It has something to do with my talent and personal gear. I gave it the nickname 'Cape'. My cape's function is to transform into whatever I want based on my mental limit. As for what my talent is? That's a secret, not even sister can know about this. I have my reasons."
Lynette couldn't help but frown lightly.
"You're hiding too much from me. I'm your only family. Who else would you tell other than me? I am someone who could guide you throughout your avascian pathway. You shouldn't hide it from me. This is your last chance, I've been patient up until now."
"Patience? Don't try to force your decisions upon me!" Eason couldn't help but get angry at his sister's reply. His sister always believed what she was doing for me was always the right decision. This is a huge flaw of his sister, at least when it comes to me.
"Also, the people who I would tell about my talent are none. That's right, I would tell no one. This is my decision. Don't underestimate me. I've already put up with your decisions in the past because I always believed you knew what you were doing since you were an avascian after all. But, that ain't the case anymore. At least, I know what I should do in my avascian pathway. My talent and Cape helps me determine my direction. I won't grade up again in just one month but I would eventually grade up in an efficient manner." Eason spoke in a steady manner yet he was in fact, challenging his own sister.
None spoke. Only the sound of breathing was heard. Nothing more, nothing less. Lynette finally spoke.
"True. From what I've seen, it indeed seems you can continue on your own path yourself. But who knows if there's a way I can help you with? Confidence is indeed a good aspect of you. Talent too, which is quite obvious. But do you think you already have everything set in stone already? Having confidence is okay, but you lack the experience to control your over-confidence from making silly mistakes. Okay, suppose you have handled even this. Then tell me, what you're going to do from now on?"
There was not a slight change in Lynette's expression from the very beginning to the end. Yet Eason could feel that his sister was mocking him through his intuition.
'Bitch, if only you knew I was the one responsible for Sciana City Catastrophe, you wouldn't be having such mocking expression. Well..even if I say it out loud, it's an unbelievable fact from her perspective'
'Hahaha, this is in fact another way of enjoying life. Go, go sister. Make sure to give your brother a hard life'
Eason couldn't help but curse this woman, Gia. Well, it's understandable to be enjoying my crisis from a prisoner's perspective. After all, I'm the one who had made her prisoner.
