CADENCE
It has been months that I get used to his presence in our house. Jaron is like a wind that he comes and goes in our house as he pleases. He even met my parents after their business trip in Italy.
I ignore the fact that my parents seem to like him as if they knew him all their lives.
They did not mind at all that Jaron keeps on his ass eating with us all the time as if he is part of my family.
He keeps his distance whenever we are in school. Since I know girls out there were dying to hook up with him especially Ashley Greene, the b*tch of my life. I do not know why she is an asshole to me. I did not even mind her or even friends with her before.
But it started during Seventh Grade. When she likes a boy but that boy likes me. I do not like any boys in our school and she is just crazy in pestering me until now.
So, I do not mind whom Jaron hook up to because it is not my business. I know the type of person he is. And I am glad that he is coping up with some new friends in school.
Donna and Clare are still around me as always. They were in the cafeteria chatting during lunch break.
"Hey, there is a party tonight in Tony's house. He invited us to come since its Friday." Clare announced. Tony is one of Jaron new friends in school. I always saw him with them. They always hang out.
I shook my head. I am not fond of partying. I only attend if one of my closest friends invited me. But going to a party of some boys in our school, nah, that is other thing.
"I do not know you guys but you know me very well that I do not like to mingle with some dudes party." I told them, continue eating my apple pie.
"Come on, Cad, this is our senior year. You should be out of your cage and have fun please." Donna pledged. I rolled my eyes, pretending to be deaf.
"Yeah Cad, I know this is not your thing but please, please, please." Clare was giving me a puppy eye. I laughed aloud as I looked at them begging.
Jaron and his friends came over to us. "Hi girls!" He said as he sat beside me. "See you tonight at Tony's place princess." He whispered in my ear.
"I am not going, jerk." I said I slapped his hand that pinched my cheek.
"Come on, Cadence please. Come to my party just once and I am assuring you will not get bored." Tony said.
"Yeah, princess, just this once and it will be that fun. And besides, you are going with me." He smirked at me. "And I will not take no for answer because I will be banging your door until you will go."
I sighed as I looked at him and to all the people in the table waiting for my response.
"Okay, okay I will go so please get your faces out in front of me." I agreed.
"Yes" they all said.
I smiled at them. I do not know why they want me to come to Tony's party. I only want to stay at home and enjoy watching movies.
Well, for a change maybe I should go. I know my friends will not put me in harm, right? The boys were gone from our sight when I said to go away from. My two besties were happy for once.
"It should better be good." I said to them.
"Of course, you need to loosen up for once. We are going there to enjoy our senior high." Donna said smiling at me.
They both were updated about parties within the school. I am not like them. I am not fond to that stuff. I am boring person to be exact.
Despite being homebody person. They never change in treating me. That is why our friendship last longer. I can say they really are my true friends.
Donna is more of a fighter. She will definitely fight for you no matter what. Clare is just a little bit but still the same as Donna. While me, I may be soft from the outside but definitely a lion deep down inside.
I am the kind of friend that will never leave you behind. Through thick and thin I will be with you. I may be not always seen in gatherings but you can surely count on me.
We all finished our lunch without even knowing it if it did not ring the school bell. We were always like this once three of us sat in one table together. We cannot help it, talking nonstop.
We go on to our separate ways because I was the only one had different subject from them.
Jaron was already sitting to his usual seat when I came in. He looked at my direction as I walked in. He was still looking at me even I seated.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Nothing! I am just glad you said yes tonight." He smiled. "You should experience it once in a while."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever!"
"Hey, don't be like that. You should enjoy and have fun while we are young." He grinned as he caressed my cheek.
I could not help but blushed. I wanted to speak but no words came out from my mouth. I do not know why he did that to me. I hope no one saw that.
But my heart seems happy. I tried my best to ignore because it looked really awkward. I concentrate myself listening our teacher's discussion.
Ignoring Jaron for the time being. This is not the right place to think about anything rather than our lessons. It is good thing that he did the same too.
There is a place for another matter and it is not here in school.
