When she was four years old, her own mother tried to kill herself. She was too young to remember it, but her family had told her the gist of what had happened when she was old enough. Her mother dressed her and her twin sister up, as if to go to church. Their mother then proceeded to lock them in a closet and called her boyfriend's mother to come pick them up. Her boyfriend, their father, was out of state to find them a new home and to take a break from the family he never planned to have.
Her mother had lied about taking her birth control, to trick their father into having children with her so he could never leave her. She did not want them, never cared for them. All she wanted was his undying loyalty. And she couldn't have it.
Being away from him made her mother depressed and manic. When the father's mother and sister arrived to pick up the twins, her mother had swallowed a bottle of pills. Her mother was rushed to the hospital, and survived. She never met her mother after that day.
Last I heard, her mother found a new man and had a son with him. She repeated her mistakes and her husband sent her to a ward. I wonder what her half brother is like. I heard he liked dinosaurs.
