Nara, Japan
The moon never looked as bright on that very evening. The man's silhouette was very visible. He was tall and was wearing a hooded trench coat. He was carrying a wooden wagon. He stopped after reaching the tallest cedar tree. He grabbed his shovel and started digging. He was about to bury something—or was it someone?
Lying on the wagon was a woman covered with autumn leaves, she probably looked like on her early twenties. She seemed as if she was put on a deep sleep. Their was no sign of struggle or pain on her face. On her heart was a dagger. Blood was dripping from her chest on the cedar leaves and it seemed to be attracting and giving life to some insects and wild animals. Kenji looked at the woman she adored since younger years. In his mind were questions that has no answers. How could Miyaka, a very sweet lady be lying dagerred on her chest with a death note for him. Written on the letter were instruction to bury bury her on Mount Hakkyu at night. Kenji seemed bewitched and ended up himself following all of Miyaka's request. He had no energy to question his wife's wishes to be buried on the evening.
He was sweating hot despite the chilly breeze after digging. The grave was almost covered. He then heard a hissing sound. Kenji didn't mind, he had lost his sense of hope and is willing to die at the very moment. His mind and body seemed weak and was about to fall on his knees. He was about to put the shovel on the wagon when a crawling venomous animal bit him on his neck. Kenji's mind was swirling as if having a vertigo. His heart was racing fast and he felt like he was gasping for air. In a minute, Kenji's heartbeat stopped.
