Pacing down the grand stairwell, Kaori quickly headed to the living room area. Living in a ginormous house for great, but it often got tiring for Kaori to keep running down the stairs.
"Bye Mom! I'm going to school!" Kaori slid on her dress shoes.
"Kaori, wait!" Kaori's Mom quickly ran towards her.
"Can't forget your necklace to conceal your powers." Kaori's Mom lightly smiled.
"Why do I keep needing to wear this necklace?" Kaori examined the necklace.
"You might not know, but your powers can be very destructive and dangerous, causing a danger to society."
"For years Mom, isn't it time to just relax?" Kaori sighed.
"Kaori, I'm trusting you to conceal your powers. Only when it's completely, necessarily then you break your necklace for your powers to be freed."
"Yes Mom." Kaori waved goodbye and closed the door.
Walking to school was a everyday routine for Kaori. Her high school was just a few blocks away. Although, Kaori was known at school for being untalented, that was just her cover identity.

"Kaori, over here!"
Kaori noticed her friends near a cherry blossom tree.
"So, are you going to confess?"
"Y-yes, I'm ready."
Kaori nervously walked towards a tall figure. Yet, facing the back of him sent Kaori chills down her back.
"Jiro! Please accept my letter!" Kaori loudly said then bowed her head.
Jiro being cold-hearted walked away from Kaori. Being embarrassed, Kaori ran to her friends.
"It's okay Kaori. You can always find another person to confess to." Friend 1 said.
"No, I'll try again." Kaori clenched her fist with determination.

After the end of school, Kaori waved to her friends goodbye. Walking home, Kaori noticed many cars on her property. Quickly, running to see what has happened. In the entrance hall, laid a dead body on the floor.
"MOM!!!" Kaori with tears immediately running down her face.
"There you are Kaori. Come with me."
Kaori looked to see a middle aged woman with a person next to her. And that person was no other than Jiro. Feeling so much pain, Kaori's eyes glared a quick color of red.
***
Kaori sat on the luxurious sofa with hot, burning tears running down her face.
"Let me explain Kaori. We received a phone call from your mother in a distress tone of voice. When we got there, she was barely alive. But she muttered something. Your mother wished me to take care of you." Jiro's mother explained.
Kaori couldn't explain the amount of pain she had in her chest. It was just morning when her mom and her was just talking. Only to come back and find her dead.
"From now on, you are under the household of the Kazuki family."
"Excuse me, but I'll just need to get some fresh air." Kaori interrupted and stood up.
"Go talk to her." Mrs. Kazuki said.
"No!" Jiro immediately rejecting.
"Now, or watch your car get taken away from you."
Kaori stood at the golden colored moon. Slowly, she expressed her thoughts. Gently clutching her necklace, she remember her Mom's command.
"Depressed?" Jiro slyly walking by.
Kaori didn't respond and still looked at the moon.
"Just because I rejected you this morning, doesn't mean you do whatever it takes to get with me." Jiro deep voice sounded.
"I didn't do this! I returned from school to see my mom-" Kaori couldn't say anything else.
Clenching her fist, little flowers growing between the cracks of the sidewalk, slowly burned. Kaori sighed and began walking back. Grabbing her wrist, Jiro pulled Kaori towards him.
"W-what are you doing?" Kaori asked anxiously.
Pulling up her sleeve, Jiro noticed a small marking bracelet. Then immediately noticing the necklace Kaori wore.
"So, you do have powers." Jiro confirmed his statement then chuckled.
