The sun rise up the next day as everyone gathered their things together and start moving again getting back on the road. While on the road Alan noticing something about Vincent as it seem that he didn't sleep last night, but the man thought it be best to let him be and not bother him.
'What is that smell?.' Vincent notices a strange and familiar smell one that he knows very well and it seems he is not the only one as Godfrey can also smell it.
'That is the smell of blood and we're getting close to where it was coming from.' Vincent look at Godfrey.
"Godfrey follow that smell." Vincent commed the small brown bear.
Godfrey waste no time and start following the sect of blood as Vincent and the others follow. Soon they came upon a Village and what they see was horror inside their was bodies everywhere mostly men and children there was also some dead women laying around.
Vincent didn't seem to bother by this scene, but he couldn't say the same for the others.
"How….. how can someone or something do such a horrible thing." Sallie was the one to speak.
"This was done by Goblins." Vincent answer while looking around.
"How can you tell?." Alan ask.
"Take a closer look at this say Goblins work all over as you can see there mostly men and children that are dead with their guts out everywhere and head smash where you can even see their brains spill out. You can't even see that much woman lying dead on the ground as you already know what they do with them."
Alan and Sallie knew what he meant, but Isabella that little girl didn't understand and ask the two what Vincent meant, but they thought it would be best for her not to know so young.
"To actually prove my point, you can even see the small footprints on the ground here." Vincent point down to the ground where everyone eyes follows and look.
"This poor Village, I remember a time our home had a similar Goblin problem not to big, but it had to be taken care of before it was too late. we came together by putting our money together and sending a request to a town with a guild. Thankfully, a small group of adventures took on our request and came to our Village taken care of our Goblin problem."
"Yes you were lucky, but what if they didn't have taken that it, what would you have done then nothing, your Village would have suffer the same fate like them."
Alan understand what Vincent mean and he was thankful that such a thing did not happen.
"Not all Adventures are like the ones you were lucky with as they seek quests that will bring them great wealth and glory. You need to depend on yourself, not on others."
Vincent learn this lesson from his Uncle while back at the order.
"I am going to look around this place you guys can do what you want." Vincent kept moving with Godfrey by his side.
"What should we do father? I don't like to stay any longer here then I have to."
Sallie was getting chills just being around the place.
"Yeah I can understand how you feel let just make distances from the Village and wait for Vincent to find us sweetie."
"Wait! his name is Vincent." Sallie pointed out while her father laugh.

Looking around Vincent wasn't brother by the bodies laying around or their guts being out in the open. No it was the blood getting to him with it sect flowing into his nostrils making him enjoy the smell of blood.
Vincent couldn't understand the reason behind this it was making him lust for more and this is something that concern him.
"You seek more blood to feel it, smell it and taste it, aren't you." Vincent can hear Adeline again and this time he is not sleeping.
"How can it be, I can hear your voice like your alive, but your dead."
"Yes I am dead, but my spirit lives." Adeline said appearing in front of him.
"I see, so I am to be hunted by you and that mean that was no nightmare was it."
"No it was a remainder something you should never forget and I am going to make sure you don't as long as I am with you."
"So this is to be my punishment or to say my hell with you never to leave me to rest, but I don't give a damn you can do whatever you want Adeline as you are dead and I am alive."
Vincent then walk through her as she disappears right then.
After that Vincent focus his attention on the little bear as it seem the creature has caught the sect of something else instead of blood. He follows Godfrey who went into one of the villagers home where everything was a mess and inside there was a body of a man who was ripped apart another one of a young man who share the same fate.
Yet the Bear kept sniffing around to the point where the two of them came upon a door opening it and walking inside. The Bear quickly seem to find something as he had his nose sniffing against the floorboard.
Vincent knew immediately that there has to be someone hiding under the floorboard as it he can smell what Godfrey smelling and that urine. Wasting no time Vincent began pulling away the floorboards where soon a young man hiding under it.
He seemed to have been sleeping, but he soon opened his eyes and attack Vincent with a knife in his hand. Vincent grab that arm that hold the knife tightening his grip to make him drop it.
"Look closely and see that I am not a Goblin." the young man looked at Vincent and see that he speaks the truth that he is no Goblin.
"Good, now that you calm down." Vincent punch him in the face.
"Hey! What the hell was that for."
"You attack me." that all Vincent said letting the poor boy go as he came up from under the floorboards.
"Who are you." He ask
"My name Vincent and you are."
"My name Evan." he answer Vincent and soon he saw his father and brother bodies laying inside watch made throw up.
Giving him time to finish throwing up and when he was down he started to cry.
"Father... big brother." he called out to them while crying for a time.
"Wait a minute….. Where my mother…. She nowhere to be found could it be that she escape to somewhere safe. I am sure father must have told her to fled.
"I believe she has been taken by the Goblins to be use for their please and give birth to their offspring."
Evan grab a hold of Vincent in anger for what he just said.
"How can you say such a thing in a calm manner like you don't care what happens to the people of the Village or my family."
"I am only speaking the truth, now move back from me because you smell like piss and I will punch you again not stopping myself."
Hearing Vincent say that right to his face made him scared to let go of him plus the brown bear growling at him.
"Now then since there nothing to be down with this Village I am taking my leave." Vicnent said leaving Evan home with Godfrey appearing back outside.
Evan was shack to see what becomes of his home by the Goblins attack, he hopes that this could be a dream, but that will just be a waste of time to do that.
Evan then notices that Vincent was leaving and he had to stop him to see if Vincent can help him get back his mother from the Goblins if the women alive still.
"Wait! Hold on Vincent." Vincent stop to let Evan catch up to him.
"What is it?." He asks not interested in what he had to say
"Please, I beg you, I need your help to get my mother back from those Goblins monster."
"Do I look like someone that hunts monster Evan."
Evan can tell that Vincent not going to lift a finger to help him, but he can't give up his mother's life is on the line here.
"I am sure your not a heartless person to not help someone in need please Vincent, I need you."
Vincent was thinking about his opinions here, he can try to keep telling Evan no or just kill him right here and now as if would be like a kindness for the poor boy. While thinking about this something caught his attention from afar as it sounded like a scream that belong to Sallie.
Vincent can tell that something wrong has happened, he wasted no time and standing still and move. Godfrey and Evan follow behind as they came upon a scene on the road where Alan was being attacked by a Goblin using a club.
The man was holding his own against the nasty creature trying to keep it from bashing his head with that club. Vincent made it in time to stabbed that Goblin in the back of the head then pulled his dagger out and push it body to fall to the side of the ground.
Vincent offer his hand to Alan as the man grab without hesitation, he took a closer look at him and saw that this man must have been ambush by the Goblins when his back was open to them.
"Oh thank the god! I am glad your here, you have to save the girls they ran deep in the woods by themselves. A few of those nasty creature follow by them please save them."
Vincent didn't say a word and just ran after Sallie and Isabella with Godfrey coming along to save from the Goblins that chasing them. Not paying attention Evan follow behind as Alan was left behind with his wagon.
"Please by the gods save them."
