The three people people on the mountain peak sighed. The voice that boomed throughout the galaxy, that one could only assume was the Divinity Phoenix had shocked everyone into silence.
The man at the center of the galaxy laughed. "Old Phoenix is as mercurial as ever. He took the opportunity to brag about his daughter's ascension."
In a cave on a distant planet a beautiful woman who had been cultivating, the Primal Soul Hall cultivator, whose soul wisp was wiped out by Willingley earlier, shuddered. "So the power I faced was the Divinity Phoenix daughter. If she is involved in the death of my apprentice, I shall have to speak to the Hall Ancestor."
Meanwhile Red looked at the other two women accompanying him. "What now Ms Lana and Princess Shuli?"
"Don't you think you should tell us your name?" Shuli asked in annoyance.
Red coughed. "This humble one is called Red." When the cauldron heard that it appeared out of Red's hand and burst out laughing. "What a shitty name you have lad!" Lana too had a weird face. "Indeed, your name is a little too... um... colorful." When the cauldron heard that it started laughing even harder. Red got angry. "Pot, looks like you want to eat level 1 flame essence for the rest of your life?" The cauldron heard that and shut up.
Lana thought for a moment and answered Red's original question. "I... I don't think I can return after all I've found out about myself." Red was surprised. "Why do you say that? No one among us will leak your secret out. Isn't that right Princess Shuli?"
Lana was in deep thought. "The reason I can't go back is because of something that Senior Flame Tribulation told me personally before she left." Red thought for a moment and realized that there was one thing Willingley had said about Lana that Flame Tribulation did not comment about. "Didn't Willingley say that her mind was sealed?" He remembered and thought to himself. Lana continued. "I need to find out some truths and for that, it is best if I leave everyone thinking that I have died as well." Saying that, she wished Red and Princess Shuli goodbyes, before she took out a talisman. An energy emitted out and teleported Lana away.
Red nodded. "What about you Princess? From what I know, you can't return home anyway right?" The Asura was really curious now. Putting on her own mask, she performed a disguise art to look like an ordinary human being. "How did you know who I was? How do you know I can't go back."
"While learning the Asura language, I spent a good deal of time watching the news. How could I have missed the conspiracy of the princess who fell in love with a human and was banished from the Asura territories?" Red spoke in the Asura language. When Shuli heard that, she became sad.
It was indeed the case. Princess Shuli had been on an expedition to a ruin, much like this one, coming across a human who saved her when she was heavily wounded and she fell in love. At that time she was disguised as a human as she was now. She thought she could bring a message of peace with the humans, but she was scorned by the Asura and she was banished and her title as princess withdrawn. When she realized that Red knew this fact and yet took it upon himself to call her a princess everytime he addressed herself, it irritated her even more.
"If you know it then do not call me a princess." Shuli said.
Red nodded. "So did you find your man?" When Shuli heard that she remained silent, but Red felt like he could imagine a sadness emanating from behind her mask. "I did. Turns out he has married another woman. He has two kids too."
Red could sense from his connection with the cauldron that it was going to laugh uproariously and immediately yelled at the cauldron mentally. "Pot, if you laugh at this moment prepare to swim in level 0 flame essence all your damn life. It will be the best purgatory for your bronze a*s." The moment he yelled at the cauldron, its intent to laugh subsided immediately and it became fearful. Level 1 flame essence was bad enough, he had never tasted level 0 essence in his life and it wanted to maintain that status quo.
Red nodded towards Shuli. "Did you ever tell him about your feelings? You know, get closure?" Shuli shook her head. "I am an Asura, he would definitely hate me if he found out. Right now he doesn't know and I feel fine to watch him from a distance." Red shook his head.
"So do you have any place to go? We can be said to have gone through life and death together. You can meet my teacher, he might consider guiding you." Red offered her. He knew she was very talented, after all she had been heralded as a genius among the Asura. But now, banished it would be hard for her to have a proper teacher. Even if the old beggar didn't take her in himself, he could guide her.
But Shuli was doubtful. "I am an Asura. If an expert comes across me and finds that out, I will perish." Red smiled. He ran Profound Asura Scripture and released released the domineering Asura aura. Shuli saw that and was horrified. "No... How is this possible? Royal Asura Aura?" Red laughed at her shock as he obtained the desired effect.
"So what do you say?" Red asked. Shuli agreed. "Ok. I will come along with you for a bit. But what is the catch? Don't expect me to give you any secrets about Asura plans." Red thought for a bit. "I don't want anything, but you must be careful of my so called teacher. That old beggar will definitely try to swindle you." Shuli looked at Red weirdly.
