The path from the capital of the Dwight Kingdom to the Roland Kingdom passed through three other minor kingdoms. One of these was Bluefeather Kingdom, within whose relatively poorly patrolled space route was flying an ominous looking Imperial Cruiser belonging to the Dwight Kingdom.
Imperial Cruisers were powerful military ships that held a military regiment. They weren't as powerful as destroyers or carriers but they had an important role in the military defense of small kingdoms. Dwight Kingdom was a pretty weak kingdom and though it had been slowly building up its space fleet, a single Imperial Cruiser would still be a heavy loss were it destroyed.
As the Cruiser was travelling, the navigation crew suddenly heard an alert sounding.
"Sir, a rescue capsule has been detected flying on a collision course with the Lyrica." One of the crew informed the pilot. The Lyrica was the name of the cruiser they were navigating. "It appears to be a rescue pod housing one person."
"Intercept it and ask the crew to look into the pod." The captain ordered.
Soon they had the rescue pod inside the cruiser. They found that it had a young man inside who was kept in an unconscious stasis by the life support system of the rescue pod. "Wake him up and interrogate him." One of the soldiers spoke to the ship's medical personnel who nodded. Soon the young man opened his eyes as he looked around in shock. He looked weak and sickly and coughed several times. He was in daze on observing the several military people looking at him, which was a common sign after getting up from stasis.
A few hours later several officers came to the small room this young man had been allotted to interrogate him. he still was in shock, but he was calmer now.
"Please identify yourself. Who are you? And why were you in a rescue pod?" One of the soldiers asked.
"I... I escaped from the apocalypse." The young man said, shuddering while he remembered what happened. "What do you mean?" The soldier asked in confusion.
"I am a student on Puratynt B. The world suddenly started erupting in flames, monsters started appearing, it was hell. I...escaped in a spaceship, but the ship exploded while escaping and I escaped again in the pod." The young man said, after which he provided information about his identity as a student. The young man was obviously Red.
When the soldier heard that his eyes widened with shock. Immediately he said "You must not mention this to anyone until we return to the capital. This is top secret!" After that he forbid any other soldier to interact with Red. This soldier was the captain of the ship, but at the same time, he was a spy for Roland Kingdom that Dwight Kingdom was unaware of. And hearing Red's story he realized he had found a treasure trove of information, but little did he realize that he just ended up making Red's work easier.
Red absorbed a high grade nutrient solution that he was given by the captain and immediately he was back to top shape. He then went to the network screen and connected a chip that he had been given by Buckley, the chip ensured that the cameras on the ship would roll on a 1 minute loop of previously recorded material. Once the chip activated, Red began his work.
This was a military ship, which meant most of the soldiers were martial artists in some form or the other. Even if most of them were only in the first realm, there was no way Red could bulldoze his way through the crew, most importantly, he had to gain control of the ship without a distress signal being lit up. Thus Red had formulated a plan before coming onto the ship. Now inside, he went to his rescue pod area with permission to take his identity proof inside but there in a secret compartment, he took out a handgun. Checking the magazines and attaching a silencer, Red prepared to move out.
Quietly approaching the guards, Red bid them goodbye before suddenly shooting their necks. Tiny darts pricked the necks of the two guards, who before being able to realize what happened had been poisoned and fell unconscious. Red proceeded on. With his god like perception, he was like a literal god of death as he shot unsuspecting soldiers who were completely unprepared and were dropping don like flies. While the poison could not kill martial artists of the first realm, they would be knocked out for a few days at the very least.
Red did not pause at all. He continued shooting like a precision robot. One shot per soldier who appeared, quiet as the night, a dart would hit their necks and before they could respond they were already unconscious. He finally went through almost all the soldiers without alerting anyone and finally came to the navigation cabin. The navigation crew were currently on a break from work and the ship was on autopilot and when they suddenly saw Red they had a chill in their backs. without waiting for them to even make a sound Red shot four times for each of the four people and they dropped unconscious as well.
But suddenly two people appeared and they appeared to be the only two people left on the ship. One was the captain and the other was the vice captain. The captain was beyond angry as he exploded. "Who are you? It seems you have a death wish!" However, Red could make out from his perception of the captain's body hints that he had panicked. immediately he judged the captain to actually be a weakling who probably rose through nepotism. Such postings weren't uncommon after all in the Dwight kingdom. Without responding Red shot two shots again, one at the vice captain and one at the captain.
The captain who was previously acting angry suddenly paled in fear but the bullet already hit him and he fell to the ground. However, the vice captain did not. He used a dagger to deflect the bullet. He looked absolutely calm and composed, looking at Red as if he were a prey to be devoured. "I sense no energy from your body, yet every soldier I see has a shot in exactly the same precise location. Which organization are you from?" However, he didn't wait for an answer and simply rushed towards Red.
