"What," Ming Tian and Mi Yao said. One of Ming Tian's jobs is to keep records of who brings the swords in, but he didn't know of a sword named Violent or a criminal named Cash.
There's a knock at Yun Li's door. "Come in!"
Pixie and Lu Fang go in, then bow and say," Your Majesties and Your Royal Highness."
"What is it Pixie and Lu Fang," Yun Li causally looks at the papers in front of her.
"Wait before you answer get Rongji to bring the criminal, Cash Cat, to the main hall," Yun Li states.
Lu Fang leaves to get Rongji and Pixie nods gets serious,"Mi Xi's eternal magic is safe, but her magical tools might be affect. She might need more or less than three tools."
"Wait, what's wrong with Mi Xi," Yun Li sternly said, not freaking out, yet.
Ming Tian looks at his wife worried. Mi Yao is confused as to why his mother even asked the question.
"Um Mi Xi touched the sword and got shocked, it took three years of cultivation out of her. She took some damage to her magical energy(magical energy is what powers the Fants eternal magic).
Yun Li's usually calm and unbothered face now worry written all over her face, true worry.
Yun Li's blinks and in a small voice she whispers, "Xi'er." Her words only loud enough for a mouse. Mi Xi got her quiet and timid voice from her Mother, but Yun Li made her voice big and clear so everyone would listen.
Mi Yao's eyes widen at his mother's meekness, the women who could silent a room with a glare.
Lu Fang knocks then walks into the open room and inform Yun Li that Rongji is in the main hall.
Yun Li and Ming Tian turn off Mother and Father mode to Director mode. Ming Tian, Yun Li, and Mi Yao go out into the main hall while Pixie leaves to give to Mi Xi's side.
Cash Cat looks Mi Yao straight in the eyes and turns his frown into a wide smirk. Mi Yao automatically remembers Cash, for Mi Yao assisted in his arrest.
"Long time no see Crown Prince Wei," the smugness oozing out of Cash filled the room, literally. Rongji holds her nose from the smell.
"Let's get straight to the point; what's your relationship with the Vampire Queen," Yun Li states with a pointed look. This question only widening Cashes Smirk.
"Well my name is Cash, and I come from the Blood Assassin tribe. I causally slit Yu Rosacea's throat, and stole her sword!" Cash shakes with laughter, his laugh sinister. Yun Li is unfazed by his answer, but intrigued that he's a Blood Assassin. How could an Assassin get caught?
Cash pipes up," To answer your question I wanted to get caught." Everyone thinks the same thing
"Yes, yes I can," Cash simply says. Sure Mi Yao assisted in the arrest, but all he did was load Cash into the carriage; he doesn't know his ability.
Yun Li clears her throat and says,"Okay Mr. Cash why did you want to get caught."
"Well I heard that if you're a Fant than you'd be arrested by the Hummingbird Department of Investigation," Cash smirk permanently on his face. Confusion evident on Mi Yao face while wheels seem to be turning in Rongji's Head. Ming Tian shifts awkwardly in his seat currently taking Pixies spot on the council. He doesn't like how Cash is playing a game.
"Did you do this for your family?" Rongji questions getting into detective mode.
Cash looks shocked, " Yes how did you know?"
"Simple what is the one thing assassins care about most, their families and their job," Rongji smile knowing that her title as Head Detective is well worn.
Yun Li still unfazed asked, "What do you want Cash Cat?"
"I want my daughter to be a disciple here alongside your daughter's."
