"Man you didn't have to call me that. I prefer Mi Yao the Ugly," Mi Yao tells Zhao Li. Handsome on the outside ugly on the inside. Even though he was short his soft, gray eyes; perfect smile that was plastered to his face, and shimmering purple hair made up for it. Heck he could get any girl if he had Mi Yaos charming personality. Zhao Li is known as the rudest in the Department. He also is never at Swordbird house where all the junior soldiers in training lived. Instead he sleeps on the hammock at Gunbird house. Simply because the junior soldiers in training aren't men of solitude and don't enforce personal space.
"A'Yao you amaze me. The fact that your still my friend amazes me," Zhao Li says smugly. Even if Zhao Li is known for a sour personality, Mi Yao and Lu Fang(His mentor, and Head General of the Hummingbird Department of Investigation.) both know he is a sweet young man at heart.
Mi Yao smirks then says, "Guess what?" After knowing Zhao Li for ten years, Mi Yao can easily irritate him.
"You know I don't like it when people say guess what," Zhao Li frowns then smiles, "In less a pretty girl says it." Mi Yao just laughs at him softly.
"My dad wants to teach me how to be a crown prince, but the best part is that I still get to be a detective," Mi Yao exclaims. All Zhao Li gives him is a hug because he's bad at reactions.
"Oh wait, should I say ' Oh my fancy, that's soooooo good!' " Zhao Li deadpans.

A few days later♡
Mi Xi looks in the mirror at her rosey cheeks, drool stricken mouth, and messy hair; this is what happens when you sleep like a baby, she thought. Right across the room on the purple sofa chairs, Cashmere was sewing, and this gave Mi Xi quite the scare. Which to the other girls was a shock because first Cashmere some how got into their house without them knowing. The second reason being that she is sewing.
"H-how did you get into our house," Fu Hong stutters. Fu Hong woke up literally two minutes ago. This evident with her puffy eyes. Still she looks cute with grey small eyes, pouty lips, and adorable bangs.
"Tee-hee," Cashmere giggles the says,"I'm a blood assassin, I will never expose my secrets."
"Ha ha ha, well next time wake us so we can formally welcome you into the department," Mi Yue sarcastically remarks. All the girls just roll their eyes.
"Seriously though we'll show all around Hummingbird Department of Investigation," Mi Xi politely tells Cashmere. This makes Cashmere smile shyly, for she already wants to be this girls friend. Mi Yue has mixed feelings while Fu Hong just wants to know more about the strange girl.
Cashmere cleard her throat and says, "Can I have that tour after you get ready?" Mi Xi just nods and washes her face. After Mi Xi washed her face, she put on a orange han fu with a green belt. Mi Xi felt refreshed. While Mi Xi was getting ready, Mi Yue got dressed in a pink and yellow han fu with a red belt. She looks at herself in the mirror and is satisfied. Fu Hong wears an all white han fu and Cashmere wears a short, green and blue han fu. With the girls all dressed and fully awake they show Cashmere around. First they stop by the school and missions center where they will learn to be detectives, soldiers, and anatomist. This courtyard is called Cleverbird Hall which is the biggest courtyard. It has a cafeteria, three ponds, each with three benches, five weeping willow trees, and two hummingbirds at the entrance.
"Wow it's so big and pretty," Cashmere exclaims. Mi Xi giggles while Mi Yue glares at her. The quad goes into the school, and see four empty rooms each with 24 student desks and a teacher's desk.
"I thought that there was only three specialties?" Cashmere questions. Fu Hong tells her that there is a class for medicine. Anatomist work on dead bodies while medics work on live bodies; it's just that the medics aren't talked about as much as the other three.
"Well, hello ladies. How are you?" Zhao Li says from inside the Class of Soldiers. Mi Yue rolls her eyes, Fu Hong shakes her head, Mi Xi smiles, and Cashmere blushes.
Mi Xi politely says , "Hello to you, too. Are you having a private lesson because school doesn't start till six months?" He nods and pouts his lips. All the girls just giggle. Zhao Li the Rude has an affect on all girls from ages 10 to 50.
"Anyways, has Mi Yao told you cute twins about your dad teaching him?" He questions and the twins shake their head. Zhao Li visibly disappointed in Mi Yao's humbleness. Why couldn't Mi Yao brag about finally being favored by the King?
After the girls and Zhao Li talked about school, Yun Li came by to tell the girls something.
"Girls in six months all four of you will have your coming of age ceremony. During this ceremony you will get your sword, magical item and magical animal."
