Life's a Journey
I learned this important lesson, life isn't a race
Your mind will tell you to pick up the pace
But I'm telling you now, it isn't a race
You're going to make mistakes and want to give up
Just running in place isn't enough
Sometimes you have to, "stop and smell the roses"
And look behind you before the door closes
Look to see what you are missing
Instead of aimlessly guessing
With a plan in place you'll go much farther
But it isn't a race, just ask the Father
Once you master following the spirit
You'll understand and then you'll hear it..
"Run too fast and you'll end up on a gurney
Life isn't a race, it's just a journey."
