Gal Gweyir Ardran the Queen of the Moon Alvans, the Founder of Alalëa Galrandilron, Her marriage with the Lord of Thorns unified the Wood and Moon Alvans into one, the mother of Gwyndelin and grandmother to Arvin.
Currently the Alvans that reside within the thorn engulfed City are a mix between Alvans with both white and gold or Auburn hair colours.
Establishing a secure paradise for those who ought to come back from Anduline, It being the final reverie for those who wish to sleep for a peaceful eternity.
As they have long passed their Life time, It also serves as place of healing or pilgrimage for the faithful whenever they have troubles with maintaining their oaths in Religion, For this place has a high gathering of Regal Energy in reserve for those in need of it.
Likewise contrasting difference between cultures weren't a problem, not after a few years of adjusting to such things.
So imagine the Alvans of Galrandilron surprised expressions, When their first and only Princess got married to a High Numan from the Kingdom of Runoria at such a young age.
Being only thirty one at that time, which is still kind of a child in Alvan perspective, But old if you compared it to the rest of the races that aren't extinct.
Even as it is a newly established Kingdom, Yet the Alvans themselves new not to underestimate the Numans for their two hundred years and five generations worth of foundation.
Their potential became boundless the moment they succeed forging their own path in terms of technological advancements, As they make up for it by inventing useful mediums for daily basis which proved to be available for all races within the pysichal realm.
But this didn't came without any drawbacks, as numerous man made problems occurred with each step they made.
Corruption, piracy, cults, and the rise of a slave trading. All of this also became the result of the technological advancements, As they were able to make use of it for there own gain.
Inward with this a new combined Culture and Economic class was established approximately five years ago marking the start of a new age, As both Alvan and Numan allies give their best in strengthening their bonds; making the most out of it.
However how long exactly will this last? no one knows for sure.
That is also one of the reasons why the Queen Invited them Unbeknownst to Arvin, as she was elated by his genius display of Ingenuity through his own observations.
For she understood that the mind of an Alvanis couldn't simply break the olden ways of her Moon Alvans kin.
Yet
. . . Here we begin once again on Arvins perspective, reveling on the shinning exteriors of the palace walls, Built by a mix between quartz and brown and silver coloured terracotta bricks signifying the union of the two Alvan races.
The place looked like a giant greenhouse with mansard roofs on the towers at the five corners beside it, combined with pantheon structures of Corinthian built masonry with an Alvanis tint to it.
pillars of quartz balanced the upper balcony besides accompanying the entrance, Filled with all sorts of magic infused plant life, Yet even trees were amidst it's furnishings.
the most notable features of this five hectare sized palace was that it had a lime green almost glass like dome that sparkled with octagon shapes making it up like a tortoise shell, it looked more Imperial.
The walls blazes through the epicenter magnificently, For it's diamond shaped contours placed on it glow with green runes meticulously arrayed by accredited Alvan rune masters.
Making up most of its foundation is the silver colored terracotta bricks with a little light bluish glint that omitted orbs whenever the sun never shone against it.
Trailing on a pattern are Arcane inscribed Alvan letters or words, horizontally moving slowly vise versa, starting from the bottom to the topmost of the wall, accumulating regal energy as it moves forming a defensive barrier incase of intruders.
Walking on the Carpeted road leading to the palace interior with a small gulping sound, He started to appraise the objects around him as to increase his level by collecting all the experience he can get.
Which resulted to him becoming a Un - Tiered level three.
When Arvin Appraised the whole building, he noticed immediately that there was also an anti appraisal talisman like at home that bestows those who do such a thing, gets five points of bad luck for three days as if it is a prank of some sorts.
As long as they don't have any hidden intentions, or simply when it doesn't identify you as an intruding enemy saboteur.
luckily he brought a hidden magical creation to his advantage called Rusi to create counter measures.
Giving a plus three modifier for all status in a sole bound state.
(Roll 1d100 every time he uses the Magical Interface.) an old and hoarse voice said while dragging a pipe, dressed as the stereotype wizard in some sort of tabletop game.
So as if expecting this, He quickly displaced the route of the talisman by transferring the life essence which makes up most of the bodies composition into an illusion, And redirected it into a pebble nearby.
For he knows he isn't strong enough in terms of Magical capabilities to take it head on for now.
. . . To his astonishment the pebble had accumulated an unfathomable amount of good luck for some unknown reason.
And when it was then binded by the Attack Power of the Runes embedded within the walls, It got negated.
'I need to pick that thing up before I go back home in Faerwood . . . . . I don't understand though why we went to the palace first? Is the Tel'Quesir High Mage there in the study?, or is my affinity supposed to be in private, Anyways.' Arvin exclaimed as he wondered about his objects for today, and that weird pebble he encountered.
The faster they entered the inner halls, The more anxious Arvin got as he didn't know what is to be expected after getting his affinity checked combined with visiting her highness.
'I have a lot of questions to ask mum after this . . . she and pops never mentioned a thing about my mom's background! dang I was really surprised this time' Arvin's thoughts was interrupted by the opening of the huge doors steps.
Revealing the Quartz interior, with a stairs on the topmost side of the floor and a couple of other sorts of plant life to compliment its design littering the hall way.
As they saunter through the bright quartz halls of the Moon Queens rest, hiking over the giant sized stairs with Gwyndelin and Reg'Nalson assistance.
Turning to the left, When they arrived to the second level, they tread towards a short path that deeply curved rightwards, While at it Arvin noticed a collection of sorts along the way.
Most where eerie looking bones, while the rest looked like Lesser Artifact's that the Moon Queen has gathered thought the hundreds of years in life.
They were soon greeted by a green stained glass door resembling a giant tree with an Owl at the Artistically placed at the topmost of it, And the Moon at the upper right Artistically embodying the combination of two cultures.
Gwyndelin breathed in deeply readying herself for what is to come, For she worries about both Arvin's affinity check and her mothers pride, as the Moon Alvans weren't one to shy from judgmental criticism until the unification between the wood and the moon Alvans.
'Back then the Moon Alvans perspectives were broadened, But now she isn't so sure her self since her father's . . .' her thoughts were interrupted by the opening of the Garden doors.
with this a Flamboyant yet serious sounding Alvans voice greeted them. only familiar too Gwyndelin.
"Hello . . Pärf Ēdhellen (Little One) it's been a long while since we last greeted each other"
A light blue robbed Bob cut white haired pale Alvan, with his hands clasped behind him stood and greeted the trio with a welcoming gesture.
Gwyndelin smiled as she looked at the familiar silhouette answering his greetings with a hug and a patt on the back.
"By the light of the Moon, Mercer it's been a long time . . . in Numan terms I suppose."
"Yes I agree, twenty five years can be quite painful for the reverie, I'm sorry I took so long . . . I have another new task after this . . . per say is that lad Arvin the genius?" he asked with a curious gaze. But the last sentence made Arvin furrow his brows for his reputation preceded himself.
"Yes indeed teacher my son, It's a shame you have another new task though . . ." Gwyndelin sighed full of regret.
"You might be surprised though" commented Mercer.
"OH were are my Manners, Arvin child this is my former teacher an Alvan High Mage of the Tel'Quesir." As soon as Gwyndelin said this Arvin greeted him with Alvan customs.
"Good day Mister Mercer" He nervously shook his hands
"Child I can feel your nervousness, calm down nobody is going to do anything harmful" Mercer said as he felt the nervousness in Arvin's body.
Arvin breathed in deep as he tried to calmly compose himself for presentation.
they continued by walking inside the garden leaving Reg'Nalson behind as he wasn't allowed to enter inside what is considered the Moon Alvans holy grounds because of difference in culture's.
Gwyndelin asked about her mother, as they pass through the inner forest like garden of blue coloured plantation.
"Mercer how is my mother doing . . . is she" Mercer interjected as he wanted to assure Gwyndelin.
"She's doing well, recuperating very quickly for her injuries, don't worry her judgement isn't biased Everything will be fine" As he reassured, Gwyndelin sighed once more leaving it to faith.
Arriving at the designated place within the Garden, their sights fell on the Mithril Armored Wardens armed with double edged blade staffs and bows, with the addition of Red capped dual wielders wearing adamantium vested coats.
In the middle of the Garden sat a White Haired Alvan Beauty who looked very young wearing a white robe with a transparent sky blue trench coat that glittered in the darkness of it.
A Glass crown fitted itself on top of her.
While a shield and a sword was lightly placed beneath the chair she sat at, drinking tea as if there wasn't anything deadly amidst them.
She is so elegant with her movements, that it is almost like a robot as everything she did was automatic.
Finishing her drink she gazed towards them . . . only for a couple of seconds later did she said with the most tinker Bell like voice, In an Romanian Accent did they made their move.
Never in his entire Lives did he have ever heard such beautiful voice.
" . . . Sit prim and properly" yet it seemed cold and ever so distant, as if they were talking to a stranger which displeased Arvin a bit.
this wasn't shown in his face though as he didn't want to piss her off.
Arvin and Gwyndelin sat down while Mercer took out a ball from a bag nearby being held by a Blade Singer class Alvan Red Guard.
there peaceful countenance was cut short by the Queen's straight forward remarks as she gazed towards Arvin full of mirth and gentleness.
Which greatly shocked everyone for some reason.
As she the Queen continued to look towards Arvin who was out right nervous her eyes Widened, her body stiffed slightly as she nearly dropped her tea did she said.
" . . . . . . You have . . . A Golden Soul . . ."
time seems to pause, as Mercer also stood still slightly shocked, But he soon continued doing what he needs to as time was of the essence.
"Gwyndelin dear you've never told me that he had a Golden Soul?" she asked looking at Gwyndelin who also had a surprised expression.
"I couldn't have known . . . . . For it is only you who poses the Eyes of Arda." Gwyndelin said a bit tense talking to her like this.
" . . . Like wise how have you been fairing, I ought to know and hope that Axel is giving you what you need in the territory I've given?" the Queen said airily.
" . . . We've been managing well, all threats in the southeast seemed to have quieted down for a long while . . . though it does seem suspicious, Axel said that there wouldn't be any problems for the meanwhile." Gwyndelin oblige with the information she has gathered thought the years.
" And so it seems . . . I'll speak to you about it later, our concerns are supposedly elsewhere" everything quieted, As the atmosphere became awkward for Arvin and the bunch.
"Ah yes I almost forgotten, Arvin meet your . . . " this was interjected by the Queen as soon as she was going to finish. "Pleased to meet you, I am Gal Gweyir Ardran, Please . . . just call me Mother Gweyir young Arvin"
As Gweyir said this, it suddenly struck him . . 'Don't tell me that this entire time . . . She didn't want to be called Grandmother . . . as to why mum has been so tense was maybe because I might get her in the thin line . . . oh well time to use my cute powers'
"Gweetings Mother Gweyir's, Mums Mum I extwene my hello!" Arvin said playfully as he wanted to see their reactions.
Everything seemed to stop as even the guards looked at them once again, Arvin thought. 'Oh no did I mess up?, I mean I just wanted to lighten the mood everyone seemed so tense today.'
Looking around he checked whether he did something wrong, 'Nope nevermind . . . I never thought that cute things were their weakness.'
As he did he noticed the female guards blushing lightly as they looked at him like he was something meant to be protected.
Even the Queen, Gweyir's cold attitude changed into that would look like she could hug Arvin forever. For she was also lightly blushing from his cuteness.
The silence was interrupted once again by her the Queen yet shamelessly unexpected.
"Can Arvin stay here in the capital once in a while?"
"M-Mum?" Gwyndelin stuttered as if not believing on what Gweyir has just said. But gave her reply. "Uhm if Arvin wants or if it seems quiet dangerous in our territory I may allow it."
"Good enough . . . " Gweyir airily replied once again making Gwyndelins face stiffen as her smile twitched with obvious dissatisfaction with the way Gweyir Ardran conducted things around here.
She continued. "Anyways get his affinity checked and let's be done with it . . . I'd like to speak to both of you in private . . ." As she said this she gestured towards the guards to leave.
Receiving the command . . . they disappeared into thin air as silence filled the garden leaving the three royalties and Mercer the high mage behind.
Mercer held a ball similar to what Arvin held on the carriage, but it was smaller, The size of a Rubix cube, Placing it down on the tea table as he did this he gestured towards it asking Arvin to hold it.
Clasping it with both hands Arvin held it with a serious demeanor, this didn't escape the Queen's eyes as she smiled slightly with pride.
When Arvin held it he felt a slightly tingling feeling within his body and soul, All the sudden the color of the ball changed into multitudes of colors like a rainbow.
Gal Gweyir Ardran closed her eyes as she savored this very moments in her reverie, unbeknownst too Gwyndelin who stood sort of crying slightly.
"He has like father's affinity . . . It also feels stronger than normal . . ."
"Yes I wasn't expecting this much though, Say doesn't he also have Your husband's dark element, and your sister in law's . . . oh it feels like Arvin got a bit of Mellagorias powers . . . just as she said she would bestow upon him . . ."
Arvin had all the Basic Elemental Affinity from his father and mothers side, while he had all the three special affinity from the ancestors bestowals.
Pyhrra (Fire), Agua (Water), Terras (earth), Vant (Wind), Gravitas (Gravity), Space (chronurgas), and Telekinesis (Psionic).
Building up his foundations as a Apprentice of an Arch Mage. this put a smile on Mercers face as he never seen this kind of multi affinities for a long while.
"Your son is fit to join any Regal Academy he wishes to study at, Its already a miracle he was able to develop it this far Am I right Gwyndelin young lass?"
"As expected Mercer he has been receiving training in channeling currently, And all seemed to go well . . . Mother is this what you meant by Golden Souls wisdom?"
"Yes though I suppose for our little prince of Galrandilron's case . . . Unlike your father and your affinity who had Nature, Arvin only has most of the Moon Alvans and the Numan's side of affinity in terms of power" Mother Gweyir continued
"This is good news for us, as He would have plenty of opportunities to learn on whichever element he chooses . . . though he may not have all the time in the world as the downside".
Gwyndelin frowned as she realized this, "True".
"But anyways, Young one Arvin what have you grasped currently in your studies?, I presumed with your level of intelligence you can get what I mean?". Gweyir Ardran asked.
"Yes I do Mother Gweyir I've learner quite a lot about channeling ! . . . I'm currently at the beginning of Mastering Transmitting stage after the stage of infusing" Arvin said which shocked Mercer.
There are a four stages in Regal Energy Gathering Channeling, Infusing, Transmitting, and Omitting. and they all speak for themselves.
Gweyir hearing this was intrigued and began asking Arvin about it. And so Arvin Elaborated, and they chatted till sun set . . .
Arvin left with Reg'Nalson and Mercer to explore the few places near the Palace entrance, while Gwyndelin and Gweyir talked about their findings.
" . . . Cloud stalkers you say ? in the Bones of Agamors peak?. . . . and that many? Are those Twilight Alvanis feeding them? those abominations!, No offense to Reg'Nalson though . . . I still wonder if Reg is going to get his vengeance? When then Gwyndelin? I'm sure that Twilight Prince will do so?" Gweyir Ardran said as she took a sip of her tea.
"I do not know mother . . . But what I do know is that he is preparing to conquer the undergrowth once more." Gwyndelin vaguely answered.
"Alright . . . Make sure the Tear of Elyne is safe . . . and do not over use it for Arvin's sake!"
"Yes mother I already made sure to put many transfiguration spells on it to make sure it's attributes won't hint out its possible return."
"Good it's getting late, go home . . . Arvin will be waiting for you already in the carriage."
Gwyndelin nodded as she left for Faerwood.
*
As the Carriage lifted off in the distance Gweyir Ardran couldn't help but have a bad feeling . . .
So she commanded " Gryphon Guard make sure to follow them home to safety"
"Yes my Liege" when she said this they Gryphon Guard sped of to flight and followed the carriage in the distance.
*
Arvin held the lucky Pebble in his palms greatly as he wondered when he would meet that girl again, As she is the cutest that he has Ever seen.
'She said she is a Valkyrie in training? What's that?, and to find her I must go to Valhalla?, that girl had so many weird questions' Arvin couldn't help chuckle as the thought of teasing her escalated in his mind.
"Did you have fun playing with kids your age?" Gwyndelin said As she wondered if her son had taken a liking to the girl she saw. She mischievously smiled at the thought of it.
"I had quite the adventure today . . . Even if it was just buying materials in the capital . . ." he said slightly happy that his mother got along quite well today with the old ha - Greate Queen of the Moon Alvans.
"Ah I see, Ok ok ok then" Gwyndelin nodded seemingly convinced.
They chatted for a while till evening Arrived.
Arvin saw the numbers of ruined fortresses in the distance it wasn't a familiar sight, as they never passed this place before.
They seemed dark and cryptic, catching his attention once more. As he was going to ask his mother what was the history around them, Gwyndelin was looking around cautiously
"Reg' Speed up the gryphons I think we have to get out of Minas Mordums air space immediately . . . I have a bad feeling."
"Yes Madam"
As she said this, the clouds began to darken as shadowy ghastly figures emerged from within it. they began following them.
Multiple Trails of black smoke converged twenty five meters away from the carriage in high speeds. Catching up to the it, A face contorted into ghastly existence, wailing in agony.
Dark hooded figures revealed themselves holding unto a wand as they pointed out towards the carriage.
"Get down!" Gwyndelin yelled as she took out her own wand and shielded Arvin with Mage Armor as their carriage was blasted by Green Lines of Lightning.
"AVADA KADABRA" (Death Magic) A Figure with no nose Yelled, as green balls of gas and lightning filled the outsides of the carriage exterior . . . . . .
