On monday, Angel went to work as usual and prepared everything in the morning then she went to report the day to Adrian.
"That is all for today. If there is nothing else, I will take my leave." Angel ask Adrian after she reported his schedule.
"I have to leave for country K for a work trip on thursday until the following monday. You have to follow me to country K too, the public relations manager is following us also. This is your first work trip since you start working so you have to prepare yourself. You can go out now." Adrian instructed Angel
"Ok, noted" Angel replied. Although she has work with Adrian for a few days but she still gets nervous in front of him. Maybe its is because of Adrian's cold expression.
Just as Angel turned to take her leave, Adrian called to her. Angel was startled when he called her. She thought that she has made a mistake.
"Wait, secretary Xu..... Do you know who is Violet Song?" Adrian blurted out.
"Um.... I do not have any relative or friends who is called Violet Song. President, is there anything you need me to handle?" Angel replied Adrian after much thought.
"No, its nothing. You can go now."
'Did I really think she is related to Violet? They just look similar and nothing else. Adrian Wang, she is not Violet and they are not related. Don't think too much." Adrian reminded himself.
After a while after Angel left his room, assistant Zhang came in.
"Boss, I have done thorough investigation on Angel Xu. There is nothing wrong with her background. She is living with her elder sister, Grace Xu and their parents died of illness when they are young. Everything matches her resume and there is nothing suspicious about her. And regarding her relation with late miss Song. There is no relation. Both Angel Xu and miss Song did not know each other in the past. Angel Xu also doesn't seem to have any ulterior motive to interview here. It was her sister who help her apply for this job." assistant Zhang reported what he has found.
"Do you still need me to dig in deeper or find out more about Angel Xu?" assistant Zhang asked when he saw a puzzled look on Adrian's face.
"For the time being, there is no need to. Thank you for your hard work."
Adrian put down all his queries and began working.
In the afternoon, Gina came to the president office to report her work. When Angel first came, she was not around so she has not met Angel yet.
' I wonder Adrian's new secretary is pretty?' Gina thought to herself as she was heading up.
When she reached the secretary area, she froze and got a huge shock.
"Violet....." she muttered when she saw Angel.
Angel saw Gina and stood up to greet her.
"Hi, you must be marketing director, Gina Lin. I heard alot about you. Nice to meet you, I am Angel Xu. President Wang's new secretary."
Gina quickly regain her composure and greeted Angel back with a smile."
"Hi, nice to meet you. I will head in first." Gina told Angel.
"Adrian, who is she? I thought she was Violet when I saw her just now. I was so shocked." Gina was very flustered and ask Adrian.
"You meant secretary Xu? I was also shocked at first. I even checked on her background. She is totally not related to Violet. They just look alike. Ask Justin out for dinner and I will tell both of you more later."
"Ok, then we get back to work first." Gina has no choice but to let go of her curiosity first as it was still working hours.
