After work, Adrian, Gina and Justin gathered at their usual place. They ate dinner and have a drink together. When they finished ordering Gina was getting impatient.
"Adrian, speak up." Gina was filled with curiosity.
"Ok, Relax. I will tell you everything."
"The women you met is Angel Xu. She is my new secretary taking over secretary Zhang's place. I was also shocked to see her at first. Till now, I still could not get use to how she look alike as Violet. I was indeed curious about her background but I am definitely not bias in the interview. It is done through voting and I have only given my consent. Since she has been chosen then she will have to pass the probation. If she fail the probation, I will ask her to pack immediately." Adrian explained to Gina and Justin.
"I have also checked that she has totally no relations with Violet. Don't worry, I will not confuse Angel Xu with my Violet." Adrian assured them
"Ok, I am just shocked and a little curious about this Angel Xu. Since it is your matter then I will not say too much also." Gina did not probe any further too.
"I am really curious how alike this new secretary is with sister-in-law. I should drop by Adrian's office one day." Justin said in a light tone
Although Violet have not married to Adrian but Justin has always treat her like sister-in-law thus till now, he will sometimes use sister-in-law instead of Violet. Adrian could not bother to correct him and he also could not bear to correct him. How he wish Violet could really be Justin's sister-in-law, his wife and sat with them to eat and chit chat.
"Justin Xia, why do you bother how she look like? What do you want to do" Gina question him with a frown
"Nothing, nothing. I do not want to do anything with secretary Xu. I was just joking." Justin quickly pacify Gina when he saw that she was jealous and crossed by his casual remarks.
Adrian laugh along when he saw the couple's interaction. The food have been served and they start digging in to delicious food. After they are done with the meal and have enough catch up time, Adrian parted ways with Gina and Justin.
Justin and Gina both have some drinks and is unable to drive but Justin has call for a substitute driver to send Gina home first.
On the way back,
"Justin, do you think we should really leave Angel Xu matter to Adrian?"
"Babe, what's wrong? Do you not like Angel Xu? I have a feeling that the two of them will eventually end up together." Justin smile at Gina
"Justin..." Gina glare at Justin when he said that.
"Why? Isn't it a good thing? Haven't you want him to forget Violet and get a new girlfriend. Now there is an Angel Xu here, why stop them?" Justin was a little puzzled by Gina's actions
"Is not that I hate her all anything but will Adrian not treat her as a substitute. She look so alike, many people will just think that Adrian just find another Violet. Violet death have alerted so many people in country S. If they knew Adrian is dating Angel, how would everyone gossip about it. In the end, the biggest victim will be Angel Xu herself. We also have to take Jayden into consideration too."
"I think you're right but both of them are superior and subordinate now. We will see how it progress before acting. Adrian is still our friend too, we cannot take this into our hands." Justin reminded Gina.
