After dinner, they have all went to the living room to chit chat.
"Gina, you seem to be very tired. Have you not been getting enough rest? Adrian, why did you work her so hard, remember to give your employees some rest." auntie Wang started to nag at her son.
"Yes, mum. I gave leave for my employees but she has never use her leave. I will definitely assigned leave for her once I get back to the office so that my right hand man will not run away." Adrian said joking.
"Auntie, its really ok. I don't find it too tiring. As long as I can help out with the company, it is not tiring."
"Gina, you must take care of yourself. I treat you like my daugther so don't let me worry about you. You are really like her..." auntie Wang sigh as they continue.
Everyone knows who the 'her' auntie Wang was refering to. When Violet was still around, auntie Wang had doted her alot. Futhermore, the next day is Violet's death annivesary so the atmosphere has been brought down.
Adrian then bring Jayden back to his room and prepare him for bedtime. Auntie Wang saw Adrian heading upstairs with Jayden, she shook her head and sigh.
"Poor child, Violet has gone from three years but he is still in a bad state. For the past three years, his time is either spent on work or Jayden. He dosen't sleep well and suffer from mild insomia. He tried to keep all this to himself but as his mother, how could I not know him. He has given his all and love Violet so much. After Violet left, he had shut his heart tightly." auntie Wang said with sorrow in her eyes.
"auntie, one day someone will definitely open his heart. He just need time." Justin comforted auntie Wang.
After Jayden fell asleep, Adrian came down and continue chatting with Justin and Gina until it was getting late. Adrian then sent them out then he went back to his room.
He went to Jayden's room to check on him and went back to his room and seat at his desk. He took the photo frame on his desk and gaze at it. It was a photo of him and Violet. Everytime he misses her very much, he would look at that photo for very long. A while later, auntie Wang came into his room.
"Mum..." Adrian quickly put the photo frame away.
"Adrian, looking at that photo again? Mum know that Violet still hold an important place in your heart. I have also think of her as my daugther-in-law but she has already been gone for three year. Shouldn't you let it go already."
"Everything we mention her and you heard the name Violet, you will be in a bad condition. Violet would also wish you would forget her and start a new life. Don't you think Jayden needs a mother?"
"Mum!" Adrian has always been avoiding the topic of finding a new girlfriend.
"I know you said that you will only love Violet for your lifetime but have you ever thought of yourself or Jayden? I can feel that he desire motherly love which is what you or me can't give no matter how hard we try."
"Ok, Let's drop this topic but are you really not bring Jayden to visit his mother?" auntie Wang asked Adrian.
"No, we can't. He is still young and I really don't know how to tell him that his mother is not around anymore." Adrian voice tembles as he was mentioning.
"Mum, you should rest early too. I will be alright" Adrian forces a smile out to convince his mother.
After his mother leave his room, he lay on the bed. He toss and turn but still can't fall asleep. When he closes his eyes, he will see the image of Violet appearing in front of him.
