Violet was immediately send to the operating theatre once they reach the hospital. Adrian was still in shock. He was in a slump with his bloodshot eyes.
'Please let Violet be alright, she is such a nice girl, she shouldn't die at such a young age' Adrian kept praying for Violet.
When uncle and auntie Wang heard that Violet has gotten into an accident, they immediately rushed to the hospital. They wanted to bring little candy along but uncle Wang was afraid that he might get frighten so they have called Gina and Justin to look after him.
" How did violet get into an accident? My poor girl." auntie Wang couldn't contol her emotions and was crying uncontollably.
After hours of resusciating, the doctor came out from the operating theatre.
"Doctor, how is my wife?" Adrian asked anxiously
"The impact of the accident was too huge. We have tried everything we cold do to save her. Although she was saved, we are not sure if she cold survive. If she was to hang on until tomorrow, there may be a chance she might recover. And we also cannot confirm if the patient would regain conscious. The worst case is that she can never wake up." the doctor explained Violet's situation to them.
"We will sent the patient to ICU for observation first."
When auntie Wang heard what the doctor had said, she fainted immediately. Adrian was also devestated by the news, he could only pray for Violet's recovery.
The next two days, Violet was in ICU. During visiting hours, Adrian would be accompanying Violet, talking to her. Other times, he would just be outside the ward praying for Violet's recovery. He had never once left the hospital. Auntie Wang was very worry about Violet but she was equally as worried for her son as Adrian have not been eating and sleeping for that two days
The next day, the doctor announced that Violet's condition has stabilised and can be moved to normal ward. Both Adrian and his parents were slightly relieved by this news but they were still hoping that Violet would regain conscious.
Two days later, Adrian fell asleep beside the bed while looking after Violet. Suddenly, a small haid caress his head and it shocked him. Violet had woken up from coma, the slight chance that the doctor cannot even guarentee had miraculouly happen. Adrian was extremely delighted, he quickly spread the good news to his parents.
"Violet, how are you feeling?"
"You know how worried I was?"
"Violet, how could you scare me like that?" Adrian was talking to Violet but Violet would just smile weakly at Adrian.
"I will get the doctor first." Adrian quickly went out of the ward.
"We also did not expect the patient would regain conscious so fast but due to the huge impact of the accident, we need to continue monitoring the patient's condition. Do not let the patient talk too much." The doctor told Adrian.
"Ok, thank you doctor."
"Adrian~" Violet called out to him faintly.
"Violet, I was very afraid that you would just leave me. we are all glad that you woke up. Mum and dad were both very worried. Little candy is with Justin and Gina this few days, he has been really a good boy." Adrian answer Violet like he has read her mind and knew what she wanted to ask.
A while later, auntie and uncle Wang came to the hospital.
"Violet, You have really scare us. How are you feeling?"
"Auntie, I'm alright. Sorry to give you such a huge fright." Violet said faintly.
"Mum, we should not let Violet talk too much, she just woke up."
"You brat, I was just worried about my precious daugther in law. Ok ok, I will not let her talk too much."
After two hours, it was getting late, auntie and uncle Wang have to head back home.
"Adrian, send auntie and uncle back. Help me to get something from my room. Don't worry, there is many doctor and nurses here. I will be alright." Violet persuaded Adrian.
Adrian reluctantly agree. After Adrian left, Violet asked a nurse to bring in a pen and paper. She want to write a letter.
"Sorry to bother you but can you pass this letter to my fiancé if something happens to me."
"Ok" the nurse politely reply.
