Connor laid on his bed, staring up at his ceiling in his holding cell and just counting the hours until that final day of life, the one thing that will greet him at the doorway towards his further downfall. That day was approaching very quickly, and Connor didn't know how to even prepare for that day or just allow it to happen to him without warning. His eyes started to close until a sudden knock disturbed his almost sleeping therapy. He rose from his bed and looked outside his door and saw that the guard came to greet him with his presents.
"Well, this is a surprise," said Connor. "You usually don't ever arrive here at my door if you have something to say to me guard?"
"Well Connor it's your lucky day, someone actually cares about you and decided to chat with you," said the guard.
"Who is it?"
"It's your sister, Amber."
Connor was shocked when the guard said those familiar words to him, like the pain of the past decided to pay him a visit. He stepped out from his room and walked towards the waiting room, where Amber was waiting for him. Both him and Amber haven't seen or spoken to one another since that dreadful day that they never want to relive ever again. Connor didn't know or what to even say to Amber when he finally sees her all grown up.
They finally arrived inside of the waiting room and from across the room on the opposite side of the glass there she was, she looked like her mother and still had that face of a little girl from long before. Amber turned and locked her eyes onto Connor's scared eyes as he walked towards the chair. Connor sat there and just looked at his sister. That he couldn't believe it that she choice to visit him after all of this time. Why now he thought to himself? What took her so long to get to this point; to come visit her brother? Did someone push her to do this? Or did she come at her own will? Their confrontation is about to begin right now. Readers prepare yourself for the wicked ride that's coming your way now.
Connor picked up the phone, and so did she. He began to talk first; to break the silences between them both:
"Well now isn't this a surprise. How you been Amber bean?" asked Connor.
"Been better I suppose, I see you haven't changed a decade bro," said Amber.
"Well yeah because I have been locked away like a criminal inside of this place since that tragic day happen. Why are you here Amber? Does mom or dad even know that you are here visiting me?"
"Nope and they don't need to know why I came here on my own terms; to visit you finally."
"Then why Amber? Why are you here?" asked Connor.
Amber looked down at her phone and saw a text message from Jackson, asking how it was going so far? Connor got confused into why she isn't looking at him anymore until she brought her attention back onto his eyes.
"I want to know why you did what you did to me Connor, back when I was just an innocent kid, not knowing at the time what my big brother was doing to me, in where our own mother had to tell me that your brother raped you. Why did you do it Connor? Why me?" asked Amber.
"I been wanting to tell you for the longest time Amber bean, but I never had the courage to tell you or even write to you about it. If you must know why I did it to you then I have to go back to the day when I did it to you. It was a warm winter night and I had to babysit you while mom and dad were out on their date night. I was flipping through the tv while you were upstairs coming out from your bath.
"Man, there isn't anything on tonight. It blows sitting inside this house, I wish that I was out hanging out with my friends than sitting here babysitting my baby sister," said Connor.
He then flipped towards the blocked channels and saw that one of them wasn't locked at all, Connor's eyes were glued onto the screen, seeing all of these happening right before his very own two eyes. While his eyes were locked onto the tv, Amber walked downstairs, with her bathrobe on and her hair dripping wet.
"Bro, what are you doing?" asked Amber.
Connor turned around and spotted her at the bottom of the staircase, quickly grabbing the remote to turn off the excitement and proceeded to put away his enjoyment. "Um I can explain?" said Connor.
"You know darn well that mom and dad told us to never go onto those channels, that it will ruin our eyes and our adulthood. I would never have thought I would find you doing that, if it was Travis on the other hand, then mom and dad would blame you for having him do a thing like that."
"Travis is only five years old bean; he wouldn't understand what was going on inside of that channel anyway. To him, it would be another one of his kids shows."
"Yeah, like mom and dad would believe that one bro," said Amber.
Connor looked at his younger thirteen-year-old sister, as she stood there with her bathrobe on, "Why are you just standing there with just a bathrobe on? Go upstairs and get changed!" said Connor.
"Okay, you don't have to yell," said Amber as she started to walk upstairs. When all of a sudden, her robe got caught on the railing of the staircase as her robe slipped off and flew onto the floor. Exposing her body towards Connor. His eyes started to take shape as they adjust onto his sister's body. He was possessed by the excitement that started to develop. Amber started to get nervous and quickly grabbed her robe as she slowly proceeded to walk backwards up the stairs.
Connor eyes was fixed on his sister's small innocent breast and the exposed women hood right in-between her legs. He slowly started to climb up the stairs on all fours, like a mad animal stalking his prey. Amber made it to the top of the stairs and quickly ran towards her bedroom, with Connor right behind her. She started to scream as he kicked her door down.
Amber tried to cover up her exposed body, but Connor pulled away the covers. He then suddenly grabbed both of Amber's shoulders; pinning them down onto the bed. Amber tried to scream, but Connor muffled her mouth with her own sock. Travis began to cry in his bedroom, trying to get their attention. Amber then started to cry as well as she watched her own brother taking off his pants and exposing his enjoyment towards her. Amber tried to kick her brother off of her, but her small weak legs weren't doing the job. Connor's knees pressed onto Amber's legs as he entered inside of her…
"I didn't know what came over me, I was a madman. Urging for pressure in the worst possible way. I took advantage of my young sister and took away her woman hood. What am I?" said Connor.
Amber looked at him with such disbelief and didn't know what more to say. She knew deep down that she didn't want to cause more problems. She didn't care. She wanted him to suffer for what he did to her, and this was the only way that she was going to get her revenge; sort of say.
"Connor, I want you to look at me. For what I'm about to say to you will hurt you even more than you're sentence. I don't give a shit about you anymore; you took away something that was close to me and now I can't even enjoy sex anymore. I get that you're sorry for what you did to me, but I don't believe a single word of it," said Amber.
Connor started to lose focus and looked at the guard that stood across the room. He brought his focus back onto his sister that was in rage, and he knew that from when she came through that doorway. He gathered more words to say and brought them forward.
"What do you want me to say to you Amber," said Connor as he started to get frustrated with her. "I get that you're mad at me, and the sight of me makes you sick. But at the end of the day, I'm still your older brother who still loves you. If you're looking a reason why I did that to you back then, well here's the reason why because I'm sick in the fucking head."
"Everyone outside these walls are sick in the fucking head Connor, so you better think of another good reason why you're a fucking waste of space."
Connor couldn't take any more of his sister's lecture and completed lashed out the words that she wanted him to say, "I'M A FUCKING BAD BROTHER!!!" after his little outburst, the guard came over towards them, "Mr. Banks, one more outburst like that, you'll be spending time inside the hole for a week. Calm the fuck down," said the guard.
"Okay, I'm good."
The guard walked back towards his post, as Amber got up from her seat and started to put on her coat. Connor looked at her and said to her, "Are you happy now that I admit that I am that?" Amber looked back towards him with a little smile and stepped away from her seat and began to walk towards the guard. Suddenly, she turned around towards him, before the guards can bring him back to his cell, "I'll see you on the day of you're hearing Connor. If you ever get one."
She left, leaving Connor back inside the past.
Amber stepped outside the doorway of the prison and walked towards her boyfriend's Jackson's car. She opened the door and got inside.
"How did it go Amber?" asked Jackson.
"I shouldn't have never come here Jackson. I felt he didn't own up towards his actions. He's the same as he was before. (Sigh), let's just go. I don't want to look at this place anymore, said Amber.
The two of them drove off towards home, as Connor was back inside of his cell. He started to reflect upon his conversation with Amber, and why it ended the way that it did. There was a lot of hate, and I do mean A LOT of hate she dished out towards him. What could he say or do; to convince her that he has changed? That he learned from his mistakes, to never walk down that dark path ever again. There was no way to change it or a way to take it all back. This is the end of the road for Connor Banks. His story is all washed up and dries; to crumble away. To die.
