James sat on the black marble relaxed next to the statue of Vesta. He stayed there for a few hours admiring the memorial before heading back to the house as he found it peaceful to be there. It was dark out now by the time James walked in the house. Walking up stairs towards his room, the hallways were all dark. Everyone had gone to bed now besides a few workers who were cleaning up the place and greeted him upon seeing him. When he went into his room there was a neatly placed set of clothes piled on his desk, he decided to go to bed before he would try them on, as it made little sense to now when he was tired and just going to sleep anyways.
He took off the clothes he had on now, which were cut and stained with blood. He got in bed pulling the blankets over him and curled up with one of the pillows as he quickly faded into sleep. As morning came, and the sun rose, light poured into his room from a big window within his room. He laid there for a few minutes before finally sitting up and stretching his arms out yawning. He felt tired still, but got up anyways. He's got places to be. He grabbed the clothes that were made for him, and put them on. The outfit consisted of a plain red t-shirt, black jeans, Black combat boots, and a black hooded jacket that was long in the back so it draped down some. Going up the back and on the hood was the sign of the Morningstar family which is also the symbol/flag of the Pride ring. The clothes were also all reinforced with magic, and made to be resistant to elemental and physical damage.
James walked out of his room, happy he had some nice clothes on again, and not just looking like he killed forty people in some alley way. Going down to the dinning area he found his sister and her friends were eating breakfast together, and hey grabbed some food to eat as well, then sat down with them. After he finished eating his food he stood up and looked at his sister. "I'll be going out again now, I'll come back at some point soon and say hi again." She looked up at him with a disappointed look, "Alright.." And with that James turned and left the mansion waving to the workers as he always did while he was leaving.
James stretched his wings out and flew up into the sky, and looking down he could see the town nearby in its entirety. He flew higher into the clouds and above them, and started to travel in a direction for a long time. In the distance he could hear sometimes loud sounds from creatures that lived in the sky, whether that be in the clouds or in the air above them. In the clouds themselves he noticed their seemed to be what only he could describe as fish with little wings on them. James continued flying until he found the borders of the Pride ring. It took him a few hours to get their but it was an enjoyable flight. The border was a large Adamantine wall with a city next to it. Along the wall there was a large gate, and on the top was guards who made sure that no one or anything entered without permission and same to those who wished to leave. As he was above the clouds the guards could not see him for the most part, and he left the Pride ring without issue or delay. Beyond the wall was a small clearing leading into an expansive forest, that James could not see beyond it. The only thing that was visible besides trees of various size, from small, normal all the way to trees that were nearly touching the clouds, were mountains in the distance. James decided to fly lower down towards the forest and dipped down from the cloud level.
