James flew down further and eventually landed within the forest. it was darker here, and was almost completely in shade. The plant life was vibrant and bothered by people for the most part. There was creatures that look similar to what he saw on earth but were also different.. As he was walking through the forest the most common thing he saw is what he assumed to be like a squirrel, but it had blueish green fur rather than brown, its tail was fluffy but came to a point, and had small white horns on its head. He Thought it was cute and just grabbed one off the ground and stared at the animal. He figured he should bring it back home and his little sister would enjoy it, but for now he'd hold onto it as he wanted to explore. The Squirl was not very happy about this but couldn't really fight back against him and after a few minutes of trying gave up. James placed the squirl in a pocket of his jacket and kept walking eventually turning into running as he didn't see to much of importance. Along the way he saw what looked like blue deer, more squirls, some yellowy foxes, and on occasion a green boar.
It took him about fifteen hours roughly to finally get through it all, but it was fun for him at least. Though most people would think it was dumb, it was the first time out of the pride circle so he wanted to see as much as he could as fast as he could. He also just didn't really feel like sitting around in a forest. after leaving the forest there were still woods and open fields of grass, but it was no longer as dense as before. He found a clearing and sat down before napping there to recover his energy. something he noticed was most the creatures he had seen were around level five to level fifteen at the highest. Which made sense as he'd assume people wouldn't want anything massive sitting near their boarders, and likely cleared the area pretty often.
[12:30 am]
James woke up to a sudden jolt of pain and his body being thrown. Looking up in his half awake stake he saw a level 20 silver boar. He was bleeding a little but nothing to bad. James got up and activated his armor and rushed towards the creature, slamming the draconic armor straight into the boar cracking one of its horns and staggering it. Quickly he kept following up each punch over and over making sure to not give the thing any room to attack again. Although it was strong and had strong durability, he was faster then it was for the most part. The boar became exhausted quickly and tried to get away by shoving James and knocking the wind out of him for a moment, and then turning to run. But as it turned he forced himself to recover and used the claw like fingers on his armor and slashed into the side of it fatally wounding its side. It kept running but shortly after fell on its side near the entrance of the forest and quickly bled out. He grabbed it and dragged it back over and brought some rocks and wood from the surroundings and started a fire. He cut the Silver boar and placed it above the fire to cook it. although tired he was also hungry now, so he might as well attempt to cook something. He made sure to not damage the hide any more then it was and clean it to his limited ability while the meat cooked.
He took it off when it looked cooked and tried eating it. It was good, but not the best thing in the world. Just tasted like dry ham and no seasoning. But he was not really in a spot to be a critic at the time so he just ate it before going back to sleep leaving the fire going till it burned out in the night.
When he woke up in the morning he rolled up the hide that was now pretty "clean" and went back to running again and just seeing what he would end up finding. Based off his limited knowledge the Wrath Circle should roughly be in this direction from what he recalled. Which wasn't a lot to be fair. He kept this pace up for about a week, with about the same situation repeating itself. Only real difference being he would go and hunt instead of being attacked in his sleep. He only did it when needed however, roughly every two days. he got a few fox pelts by the end of it and also the squirl thing was still with him and he'd make sure to feed it along the way, mainly as if it died it would be a problem. Rotting animal is not a good smell for your clothes after all. By the end of the week he came to what appeared to be the Wraths border. He walked up to it and there was a large group of people at the entrance. He flipped his hoodie up as he did so, and waited till he would get there.
'I could fly, but if I caused a big commotion by entering another country illegally it might cause issues...might be fun though?... no, I can't become a criminal so soon haha'
Eventually he got up to the guards. "State your name and purpose."
"James Morningstar, visiting." The guards hesitated for a moment and talked to one another, before looking back to James. "I'll need to see your proof of identity?"
"what?"
"Your ID sir."
'... their is an id here?... of course dad wouldn't tell me this ahead of time... and all the people of pride know the family so we wouldn't need one their.... ugh'..... "And if I don't have one?"
"Then I'll have to ask you to leave sir."
'....' James walked away before looking at the wall of the border. 'there goes the law abiding route I guess. I'm not traveling another week just to get back and get an id so i can come back again...' James let out his wings and took off into the sky and flew over the wall and kept going. All the guards bellow looked panicked and started running around. James was already pretty far before they could do anything now though. After a few minutes he landed in the city bellow that was at the border. He wanted to go see the capitol of Wrath and visit Mare. Also he felt that as he is a royal spawn he might as well learn of the world and see what he rules after all. It would be like being a country's president and never traveling the world in your life.
James walked around and found a Inn. He had his hood up as he walked inside covering his face mostly. Looking around there was a few people eating and drinking and at the bar was a middle aged demon woman. He walked up to her, "Id like to know what direction the capitol is from here, and how much for one night?"
"The capitol is east from here, and would take about a week by carriage. As for how much a night it would be fifty coin."
"Alright, Thanks" James then left as he also remembered he had no physical currency on him only the system money. As he left though he noticed guards running around searching. He quickly ducked behind the Inn and decided to climb up into one of the rooms through a window. When he got in it was empty. A few minutes pass and he heard a guard enter the inn loudly and asking if anyone had seen a boy, with a long black jacket and the pride symbol on it. The lady behind the bar told him what she saw and the guard left. It looks like he quickly has become a fugitive now but oh well. He still wasn't going to be too reclass. Even the low ranking guards were around level 20. Never mind if he ran into someone stronger. He'd wait till night and then leave to the capitol and just play it by ear from here.
A few hours pass until nightfall comes. James waits a little longer before going out the window, as he does he hears the door to the room start to open and takes off flying before anything happens. He keeps flying into the distance headed east. Although he would like to spend more time their, he didn't want to really deal with any unnecessary risks.
