The next match had started soon after the previous one. Axel stood there once again, but this time across him was a boy in a green hoodie and black hair. Axel looked at him and knew who he was, it was one of the boys who had caught his attention. Isaiah, who was one of two brothers. He did some research into the brothers. What surprised him the most was it seemed like they were average all around. Their family wasn't overly wealthy, they never went to any formal training. They didn't hang out with anyone who was of very high background, in political terms. They never talked to too many people unnecessarily. Yet, they had caught the attention of almost the entire school, not only had they kept their power hidden all this time, which no one could find out why but suddenly they started showing bits and pieces of it. It seemed almost out of nowhere. Why? Why had they done this? Where had this skill and power come from? It made almost no sense to him. And that excited him. Something he wasn't sure if he could beat easily, but something he did not know on even to this exact moment to explain it. 'Interesting... The two of you, both so many questions. Like as if a whole new section of books all un-read to anyone had just been reviled. I wonder, just how strong you are.' Axel for once showed a slight grin. Something that was a rarity for him in recent times.
Isaiah looked at Axel and stared at him. Axel had slightly long blonde hair that was combed back and spiked up. He had blue eyes, and a blue jacket on. Under his jacket was a black shirt, and he had white pants on. On his waist was a two-handed longsword in a sheathe. The hilt had a straight cross-guard that had silver colored engravings. The sheathe had gold markings all down it. It was an interesting design, but admiring his enemy's weapon won't help anything much. Isaiah was thinking back at his time here so far at the school. It was mostly boring stuff, but there was a lot of fun things that came of it. But then there was that fight... That cold day, in the blizzard at the school. He had received a rare chest, and a lot of money after selling the corpse of the Artic-Tempest-Bird in the system. He remembers when he was sitting on the bed that night, and he opened it. 'I really did get lucky that day huh.' He chuckled to himself lightly before grinning softly. Putting out his hand a blue light shined before reviling a shiny silver looking Halberd in his hand. The top part of it looked as if it was covered in frost and at the bottom of the head, were two long white stripes of fabric that waved in the wind. The pole of it was light blue in color with silver-colored markings on it, with a silver spike at the bottom of it. Lowering it to the ground he stared at Axel but with confidence.
Everyone stared with interest and excitement at the scene of the two. Two individuals who had a high amount of skill and strength demonstrated throughout the event. The crowd could only guess how intense this fight would get in the end. And now one of them had pulled out a mysterious weapon. It felt as if it glowed with confidence in itself. As if asking, no, telling everyone to look and watch it. That the next few minutes will be some of the most exciting things in their life.
Isaiah gripped the pole tightly in his hand ran towards Axel extremely quickly, crossing thirty feet in a second. Axel barely had enough time to jump to the side in order to dodge the tip of the halberd as Isaiah trusted his arm forward in the direction of him and his hand slid down the pole before catching it at the end. Applying force to the side, he swung the ax like side towards Axel almost immediately. Again, Axel had to throw himself back in order to not get caught by it, and still only barely got away from it. The students were cheering and screaming in excitement and shock as they saw how not only fast he was moving but how quickly Axel went from being a person who looked untouchable to barley avoiding attacks at all. Isaiah dashed up again and kicked Axel in the stomach throwing him across the ground, making roll and spit-up phlegm and blood from the force of the kick. Axel climbed to his feet and laughed. "Finally! someone strong as well!" Axell holding his sheath with one hand and his other hand free stared at Isaiah. Raising his free hand he made a bunch of water start surrounding him and increasing the size of the pool of water until it got to the point where the entire arena was filled with an inch of water. The arena was around 160 feet, or the same size as a football field for reference. The building was also closed in as well, so there was no sunlight, except for a handful of large windows, but there were a lot of lights on the ceiling.
Everyone watching, both students and people watching from the tv, were all surprised by the sheer amount of water this kid had just made in a few moments. And based on the previous match, this was a really bad position for Isaiah to be in, as he was standing in the water. But when everyone looked at his face, Isaiah only smiled and laughed. "Alright then, Impressive, I will admit. However, I've dealt with way worse, so bring it on!"
Everyone's spirits were high and people were screaming in enjoyment. This was the matches people looked forward too. Too incredibly powerful people. Two skilled fighters, competing all out, head to head. They couldn't wait to see even more.
