After Isaiah rested for a lil bit, he was ready for his next match. Or as ready as he could be for the moment at least. After all, Levina would not be someone to take lightly. But this would be a great opportunity to test himself and see how well he can do against the Lightning princess. Plus if he did beat her, he could make his brother proud of him, and he'd be at least in the top 2 strongest in the school. Isaiah got excited by this idea and smiled. Getting up he gave James a high five before going down to the arena once again. As he stepped into the arena everyone was watching intently. As the last two matches would decide the school's hierarchy for the next while, It would be something important for them all. A lot of people in Isaiah's position would probably feel anxious or nervous, with so many people watching them, or the fact that they were simply fighting someone who was very strong. This tournament would also decide a big part of the schools public imagine, sense stronger students means the school is better to train kids to be stronger. And thus more people are likely to want to attend.
Isaiah griped his halberd tightly and waited for her to come out. After a short wait, a girl came out onto the arena. The girl was around 5'4 and had long blonde hair. She had a white jacket on, which had a golden lining. She had a black skirt on, as well as black thigh-highs. She wore white sneakers and a lil gold on them. On her side was a Katana with a black handle and Yellow diamond-shaped pattern on the handle. Her eyes were Golden yellow with a cold gaze. This surprised Isaiah, but he quickly got his composure back. 'So this is her...The so-called lightning princess... Interesting.' Isaiah had a slight smile on his face, "Hello, you are Levina, the lightning princess, correct?" She nodded without saying anything. Her gaze never once leaving him, It felt like he was being stared down on by a monster. Although this made his freeze up a lil, he managed to keep his composure mostly.
"And your Isaiah, the younger brother." She said coldly.
"Oh? so you know a bit about me as well?"
"Yes. It's hard to not notice you and your brother anyways."
"So you see us as a threat then to you?"
Levina stared at him for a few seconds before responding, "No. simply you've gotten to this point in the tournament. Basically, everyone knows everyone at this late into it."
"I see, Well let's see how we compare to one another then."
She sighed, "No need, but ok." Levina grabbed the hilt of her sword and stared at him. Isaiah griping his halberd tighter he ran towards her, moving very quickly. Levina simply yawned watching as he came close to her. Isaiah slashed down at her as he was near her. Levina calmly drew the Sword with one hand and stopped his halberd from moving. Levina pushed and throw Isaiah back a few feet and then stared at him. Isaiah grit his teeth a bit, he got a lil cocky cuz of how he's been doing in the matches so far. Isaiah took a deep breath and calmed himself down. Levina started to walk towards Isaiah slowly. Yawning in the process. 'dammit, ok just gotta try my best, and see what happens.'
James saw this and was not very surprised. He had heard roughly her capabilities, which got her ranked first. As well as her nickname. And based on what he had just seen it didn't seem that impossible. But he thought his brother would be a lot closer to doing something against her. Guess not. The fact his brother had not landed a single hit on her yet meant she was at least around his level. Or she had trained a lot over the years of her life so far.
Isaiah slashed at Levina once again but with full force. Levina ducked under it, and then kicked Isaiah in the stomach. Isaiah coughed and fell back a few steps from the kick. Levina kicked him in the head and sent him to the floor. Sheathing her sword she walked back over to him and stared down at him. "Give up." Isaiah tried to get up from the ground, only to be kicked in the ribs by Levina making him drop the ground again. "Just give up already."
"Fuck. Fine...I give up"
Levina walked away as the staff came and carried Isaiah off so that he can check out. As Levina was walking she stopped for a moment and turned her eyes towards where James was sitting. She stared at him for a moment before continuing to walk out of the arena to rest up a bit. James had made eye contact with her in the moment, and it only reconfirmed his feeling that she was definitely a strong opponent. And someone he'd have to be careful with. Considering she barely used any effort at all, never mind her magic as well... James looked down at his swords on his sides and then looked back up. On his face was a smile of a mix of feelings. Both nervous and excited. This is the first fight with another person he wasn't sure if he could beat or not. Something he looked forward to finding out.
